Release a compelte game. A complete Halo would have many ways for all sparatns to enjoy. Why? Because forge. Forge allows you to play how you want. It’s why Halo 5 lasted so long because forge always offered a new way to play.
That’s why it was a bad move to ship the game without forge and even worse that it’s many months out compared to Halo 5s which came out in December
HI’s Forge will be better.
Sure it’ll be better but it’s not on launch. On launch content is a lot more important. Just take a look at Halo 5 the population never came back because all the updates came 2 years after the game launched. By then people already left the game.
The same will happen here but worse because now there’s even more games on the market to play AND. Forge is coming later than before. We have a long way to go before we even get close to what Halo 5 already is now

What can I say I’m having fun. The server issues/customisation/lack of content isn’t really bothering me at the moment.
I always find the game is as bad as your company!
I think there have been enough cases out there to show that this just isn’t true in modern gaming. Quality long term content additions are what make successful games sustain populations.

Launch content matters more in my opinion. If Halo 5 launched with its missing features it would’ve faired well.
As the clock ticks more and more games are coming out. Not less. Not everyone just plays Halo
While other games are making strides faster than Halo, Halo is taking its sweet time. A 6 year wait is already hard pill to swallow.
Will people come back? Sure
But being burned by 343 isn’t going to sit well with a lot of people. There is only so many times you can mess up before people just check out

I do not know what happened. I played the hell out of 1, 2, destroyed 3 and Reach Multiplayer. Really had fun with 4 and 5. Infinite I am not getting the same enjoyment as I did with all the others. I played a decent amount of the “beta” back in November. I logged in nearly every day for the first Tenrai event, I got all the rewards for the Christmas event. I logged in a few times between Christmas and this Tenrai event. I completed both Tenrai events and ultimate challenges those weeks.
Something about the game feels like a chore now. Once I completed the Tenrai event I instantly swapped over to a different game.
I cannot have fun in ranked like I used to in older Halo games. Playing Fiesta is a good time, but man the maps are now boring. Melee is still atrocious. Plasma pistol is dang near useless, the tracking is awful and you cannot stop vehicles like you used to. It doesn’t even seem like it kills a vehicles shields either. There are not enough easily accessible shock weapons to fight against vehicles on the maps. Sometimes challenges do not even get tracked even if do what is needed for the challenge. The Pulse Carbine has the ability to be awesome, but why do you need to treat it like you are using a precision rifle?
The shotgun…holy…just what happened. I have gotten used to it, but it is not fun. No confidence in the weapon. Remember the old days when you would have a shotgun and be able to take on sword players? That is not the case anymore. Or go on shotgun sprees? Changing the shotgun has really helped make the game dull.
“Get X amount of kills in Team Slayer PvP” should mean exactly what it says…If i am playing Ranked and I get a Team Slayer match, my kills should count towards the challenge…I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE IN THE TEAM SLAYER PLAYLIST FOR THIS TO WORK. If I am playing quick play and I get put in a Team Slayer match, my kills should go towards the challenge…I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE IN THE TEAM SLAYER PLAYLIST FOR THIS TO WORK. The only reason I should have to be in the Team Slayer playlist is if the challenge actually said “Get kills in the Team Slayer Playlist.”
The game just feels like a chore with the game play and the FOMO of the challenges and “rewards.”
Maybe someone can give me tips on my aiming. I am too erratic, no pinpoint precision like I used to have in the older games. I always thought from the flights that the aiming felt too much like a Call of Duty game and not like Halo.
It is becoming increasingly harder for me to go back to Infinite. Especially knowing that there is nothing for me to unlock because the game went Free to Play, and gave campaign purchases virtually nothing for their loyalty.
The next events are really going to have to have some cool armor stuff or it is going to be very hard for me to want to return.
As you said more games are coming out. I just picked up six new games on sale. Once I finished the Tenrai event this week I instantly went to another game. There is nothing fun that makes me want to keep Halo in like I used to with 2/3/Reach/4/5. The other games I purchased keep calling me, and I get a much higher level of enjoyment out of them, not like Infinite which feels like a chore.
Then again…wasn’t that what the developers said they were trying to design out of the game??? Well that was a huge failure.
I feel the exact same way. The whole community has been trashing this game since before Christmas, and it is getting exhausting just to listen to. We seem to have fallen into the pit of looking exclusively at the negatives and ignoring the countless good things about the game. 343 has definitely heard the complaints at this point (they’ve been repeated so much how could they not?) and are probably working on a solution as we type. They may not have much of a history for launches, but they do a pretty good comeback record! I have full faith in there capabilities.
I have a blast when playing with my family. The competitive nature makes it fun even though frustrating at times.
I agree on the road map as you mentioned. Not sure what else to do besides just play once I hit max lvl.

Exactly! I’m having issues with the Tenrai challenge again and there’s nothing I can do.
My issues with it were basically forcing me to play certain ways as opposed to just play.
The Tenrai event challenges themselves were fine. Get double kills, or killing spree or play matches or get kills.
It’s the use X weapon to get X amount of X kind of kills in X game mode that make me the most unhappy. Especially when you do that and it doesn’t track.
Yes I do enjoy the game. Still play multiplayer and the campaign. It’s not perfect. Very much reminds me of Halo 5 with a skeleton they intend to add to. Campaign is very good, just not enough of it and it’s not the game I wanted. Like literally the thing I liked the most in the story is also the thing I disliked the most. 
I love halo infinite as well. Yes there are issues, but i genuinely enjoy the game. Theres things im hoping 343 will fix like adding new maps and weapons and just ordinary bug fixes. The gameplay is fun to me and i play the game every day for at least an hour.
After the two flights I participated in, I said that this will be the most patched Halo game of all time. It’s more apparent now than ever.

Just because a “comparable counterpart” game is utter garbage, doesn’t mean Halo Infinite can get away with being slightly less garbage. BF2042 being bad doesn’t excuse 343I from screwing up.
With your thought process you’re just letting the gaming industry lower your standards/ expectations and letting them get away with it.
IDK man… they gotta actually patch it to reach that goal. I dont think we have enough bandages…
