As a kid of age 7 I have spent more than 200 hours of campaign all the way from combat evolved pc to halo 5 guardians. I have be a fan of this game from back then. By that I mean of the story, I dont want to get multiplayer into context yet. So I love this series, I really di but I dont like the approach 343 has taken with halo 5. Not like I am 100% against it. I just dont like it much. by which I mean the campaign design, the dynamics of the story. In all the halos uptill halo 4 there has been a sense of suspense, you dont kniw who the story will take turn and in which way. Look at it from this point, in halo ce when you first started, did you in any way saw, boarding a covanant ship to rescue the captain, unexpected release of the flood by the locals, or keys turning into flood. There was so much to halos campaign. If you are a long time lore and campaign fan yiu will know what I mean and that how halo 5 contrasts with CE. Fron start I had a feeling of how things will go in halo 5, there will be just one main objective, CE, 2,3 ALL had many main objective which came unexpected.
Yes, I see the series dying… And I am afraid that I am hopeless to stop it.
I believe bungie had more guys who worked on the games because the really loved it not like halo 343 is now, like except a few guys, all the other just want to get work done and get their cash. Just another job for them.
I can see how bungie was the true guardian of halo. You know no one can take better care of a child than its mother. In a way halo is bungies kid, and they know how to tender it. 343 is just a step mom. Doesn’t know best or is simply in heavy influence of Microsoft for making games that give Microsoft cash. REQS ANYONE? Cough
Moving on to the multiplayer, I started in 2013 October with halo 4. I BECAME A BEAST IN THAT GAME. CSR 50 BY THE WAY. But still when I looked back I found halo 2 more fun more better, more HALO. Though I never played it online, there was a ray of hope with MCC but you know how that turned out right? Since halo 5 came out. I have spent 16 days plus game time on it and had no fun memories at all? I remeber not going out of the first flood room, epicness of controlling elites, stepping food on are and halo 4b, the mysterious didactand the forerunners, the mystery. And those fun game night in halo 4 when we were in team of 4 and one of us stuck my best xbl friend with a sticky detonator and we used him as a bait for a easy over kill. There are so many things to sayand I can go on and on, but word limits…
So coming back to point, I am going to play around with halos brother destiny (mother thing…) I the hopes that those memories I have will expand with this new child, and new memories and emotions will be made and new bonds forged is the flames of darkness and lost directions.
I will never quit on halo campaign. I will buy halo 6 at lauch, multiplayer is just a freebie for me. It really doesn’t matter. I am leaving for now but I will be back every now and then, and when halo 6 comes out.
Remember that just because I am leaving doesn’t me I am gone but that I just just not here right now.
