I don’t have the game yet, but I want to ask a question.

So for various reasons I won’t delve into right now, I didn’t buy the LE. I did preorder the standard edition however. Now, I’d like to ask a question:

"If I preordered the Standard Edition of Halo 4, am I able to play War Games online?"

I have been hearing different things about a “Season Pass” and it being sold seperately. I am very concerned by that remark, as I don’t know when, how, or even if I will be able to get my hands on a “Season Pass” if it does not come with the game.

You will be able to play online…

Its the map packs that come free with legendary. Its called the map pass, it basically gives you access to all the map packs coming out… kind of like a pre-order.

dont worry. you will be free to play, the season pass/map pass covers you for the map packs released dec, jan and april i beleive
