Hey everyone,
I know you’re all probably sick of hearing people complain about their connection issues with Halo: MCC but I have just finished contacting Xbox Support and they told me to contact 343 directly; after looking around for a while I came to realise that 343 have no customer support service (which I find strange). Whenever I try to play Halo:MCC - specifically Halo 3 - I can join parties with my friends and find games quickly with absolutely no issue, however, I disconnect from every single game half way through. Characters start walking into walls, the screen goes black then I see the leader-board for a bit and eventually lag out.
My question is, am I just one of the unlucky ones that will never be able to play this game? I can play any other game on my Xbox One, my PS4 or my PC with absolutely no networking issues. My friends that I play Halo with have no connection troubles when trying to play Halo, it’s just me. That is what confuses me most; why is it just Halo that I can’t play when everything else works just fine and why are my friends not experiencing the same issues?
I’ve been through the process of Port Forwarding my Xbox One, I have an Open NAT type. According to my Xbox One, my download speed is currently 77.44Mbps, my upload speed is 6.04Mbps and my latency is 164ms. I’ve deleted Halo: MCC and re-installed it, I’ve removed my account from my Xbox One and performed a hard reset so many times I’ve lost count, nothing is working. I know it’s a long shot but does anyone have any suggestions to solve the problem of lagging out of every single online game?
Thanks for any help you can offer.
