Am I alone on this?

I really hope someone can sort through what’s wrong with my situation.

I cannot get used to any games with precision movements. I’ve tried MCC, Destiny, Titanfall, Madden, NHL, Forza… I cannot get the hang of precision movement.

I’m not trying to be cocky but I’m very good at videogames… always have… always. Regardless of what it is I am better than most… especially FPS’s.

Ever since I have got an Xbox One, I can’t ever get good at any game. I’m last nearly every time and precision movements I massively struggle at. If I ever go to a friends house and hop back on the 360, I’m right back and I’m unstoppable.

I’ve put in so many hours on the Xbox One thinking eventually I’ll get used to it but after months nothing is changing. I don’t know if it’s my Xbox, my controller, the games themselves… I don’t know but it has ruined gaming for me.

Does anyone know what I’m talking about or am I alone on this one?

Are you plugging your controller into Xbox One? If you aren’t then there is a minor lag because of using a wireless and that may be making a difference in FPS games especially.

The controller is harder to use than the 360 controller. Less resistance combined with a wider range of movement is going to require a lot more precision on your end. Oh and the deadzone seems larger (though that varies between games).)

I personally have mastered a lot of controllers over the years. The X1 controller is easily the hardest to master. I wouldn’t say Ive mastered it yet, but well on my way.

The weight of controllers plays a huge factor for me and since the xbox one and ps4 controllers were so light compared to the 360 I find my self dragging to far in precision movements. Fortunately I got used to it and its fine now

Do you have rumble on? The new rumble triggers might be throwing you off.
