While Halsey sits behind the big glass box, her son goes outside to save people.
He risk his life and she has absolute no emotional connection to him.
So for him it must be like being an orphan cause having her as mom must be like having no mom at all.

Jorge is not Halsey’s son for one, unless you are talking about in the metaphorical sense in which case Halsey could be considered the “mother” of the Spartan IIs, but i doubt that is what you were going for. And if in reference to the hunt the truth thing, I doubt Jorge has anything to do with that or Halo 5, and that is coming from someone that really wishes Jorge somehow survived the slipspace jump from Reach.
Probably HaloJolly made another Halo Universe to himself, where Jorge is Halsey son. Try not to hate him if I’m right.
