I’m Diamond or Onix on all playlists and 95% of the time I’m playing solo, so it’s like I have to go up against 7 other Top Tier players every game… I still go positive every game and usually am the best on the team. But it’s like a Football team having to play in the Playoffs EVERY SINGLE GAME. It’s just exhausting after awhile.

You don’t prove how good at football you are by beating up the Cowboys. Inb4 rustled Texas jimmies.
While I do think the game would benefit from having social playlists I don’t like your reasoning. You just want to stomp on people without having to try which the ranking system’s entire purpose is to prevent.

Exactly how I feel! I mean, I’m only ranked platinum in Team Arena and Slayer currently, yet it’s really intense most of the time. Also, I don’t know about you but I encounter a lot of “Pros” in competitive, and it just plain ruins the experience when they’re just sitting there insulting everyone on their team. Honestly I think they should implement Halo 3’s system of ranked and social playlists. Warzone is really fun, but I don’t want that to be my only other option besides competitive play.

I’m glad the ranking system is in place so players like you can’t go into a “social playlist” and see “See how good (you are) at this game” by beating up on “a couple average joe’s”. It sounds more like you don’t like playing kids your skill level and you want to just dominate games. I want social playlists too, but not for this reason. I think the reason you want social playlists is selfish and dominating.

Social and ranked playlists are something I would really appreciate.
I just want to go on and play a few rounds of non-competitive matches, they’re nice and easy going for the most part.

1st and 2nd every time maybe one 4th at the end… And it really takes about 3-4 good games to place you into matches with the Diamond/Onix players, the last 3 games that’s all I was playing with and I didn’t even have my rank yet

Ranked is making me not want to play either but it isn’t for that reason. I hate the ranking system because it doesn’t account for individual skill at all. My friends and I made the mistake of playing the placement matches together as a team. As a result, people ended up in divisions they don’t belong in. Now when we play arena, we are always placed against diamond/plats/onyx when in reality 3/5 people i play with belong in silver and gold. This makes it almost impossible to win. It just isn’t fun. We used to just do social because there wasn’t any ranking to worry about so everyone could stand a chance. I am tired of having to do Warzone all the time because arena is almost impossible to win in.
yeah thats a problem. everything is too ranked and it stresses me out because i start to rage because i know its affecting my stats, rank, etc. they need social gamemodes like griffball and infection where its just to have fun and no ranks. if they rank something like infection or griffball then i am just done with the game. ranking everything is stressing people out

Realistically it’s not going to happen. I play solo every game and I range between Onyx and Pro but you’re not going to find the casual games you’re used to seeing. Much of it is due to bad map design and game play from 343. The glory days when Bungie ran Halo are gone where you had easy call-outs, balanced maps, etc. All of that went away when 343 took over.
How many games do you get in where there are players using call-outs? For me it’s not even 10% of the time. When I call out I hear crickets chirping.
I’ve played each Halo but this is my last. Should have seen the writing on the wall when Halo 4 came out but nostalgia won out with me getting this game.

I’m not great and somehow I am in the Diamond CSR. I really don’t think that thing is accurate; why? I get my -Yoink- kicked every game for the most part. I have a negative K/D to prove it.

I play SWAT on one profile and Slayer/Warzone with another. Doesn’t matter which game type I’m in, they’re all disappointing.
