I know this sounds dumb, but is anyone else almost solely placed on teams who start drastically losing within the first 5 minutes?
At first i thought it was just bad luck. A lot of it. But now, I’ve noticed I will play 4-6 games each night before I win a single match. And not just losing, but losing 300 or less to 1000 on average. Before anyone says I’m not pulling my weight, this is all while I am averaging top 3 on my team (often MVP). I often end these games top in both normal and boss kills. It is so normal, it almost feels like the matchmaking system is just screwing me over. I have a drastic loss/win ration in Warzone and I’ve also monitored it myself, so I’m not imagining it. I don’t even care if i lose all the time, as long as I can actually play the game/have a decent match-up, but I haven’t even gotten to warden eternal in 9 games and this is the norm.
It’s not that my team mates are quitting because we are getting destroyed either. We will have no one quit the whole game and still get destroyed, or have team mates quit at the beginning and never get new ones. This happens at least twice as often to me as it does other teams in my experience. I thought it might be because the other teams have partied up, but i find it hard to believe I face an entirely partied up team this often.
343 really need to fix this total disaster that is their team balancing.
Anyone experiencing the same? Any potential explanations? More importantly- solutions?
i get this all the time, unballanced teams. a bunch of scrubs against a fully stacked team.
Everytime. This is why I despise playing Warzone or anything on my own because 90% of the time I will have terrible teammates.
The same happens to me each time I play Warzone. I get dropped in the middle of a game in a team which is being ripped apart by the opposing team. It’s really frustrating, I can’t compensate for the most part of the team which isn’t playing great…
Warzone isn’t so much fun for me anymore in a way like this.
I think it would be really beneficial to do a “mercenary” search option. People playing alone, only find other people playing alone. I’d gladly sacrifice search time for better matches.
Thus LFG was born and 12 random strange players do and talk about random things in party chat
If you play solo, like I do all the time, its like playing Russian roulette. Party up and make things easier for yourself then you can be like those smug forum kids that always bring rank into an argument while playing in a four man squad thinking they are actually good…
A wise man once said ‘life is like a box of chocolate’s, you never know what you’ll get…’

Ya but some people want to play solo not play with a full team of 12 sweating over a social gamemode.
Skill matching definitely needs work. It’s hard to win a 12 man game by yourself. Played 6 games yesterday. Lost 5.
HaloLFG.com .It stands for Halo looking for a group. It’s an active chat website that helps unite players into teams like Hupit Gaming ( before it closed and Destiny LFG) did. It’s a fantastic resource man.I’ve met a lot of great players on there and have had full teams of 12 within 10 minutes of posting on the site.Try it out it’s a foolproof way of finding teammates.
They should either make a playlist for warzone and warzone assault for solo people who want to have fun instead of 12 sweaties trying hard for armor or make the matchmaking balanced.
-Yoink- happens man. That’s what happens in social playlists… Mismatches. Shake it off and move on to the next game. Or play arena where you will be matched with and against players of equal (mostly) skill.
I also think people conveniently forget the times they were the weak link in the team and only remember the times they were top of a losing team.
War Zone Turbo, solved some of this, as you didn’t get stuck with level 3 req while the other team is at level 6 . . . Makes me miss WZT already
If you think you’re the MVP because you happened to get the last hit on a few bosses and received a bunch of points, then you’re not pulling your weight.
Take a look around in the next game. Observe why you’re losing. Then try it yourself.

At least Firefight won’t consist of a 12 people party getting ready to massacare you.
If you are always put on bad teams you are likely bad yourself. Like the saying goes, if you can’t spot the sucker in the first half hour at the table, then you’re the sucker.
I haven’t been facing this problem nearly as much recently.

Troll somewhere else. I average top 3 in k/d, kills, and get half my boss kills from stealing the others team’s bosses.

So by your logic. You are in the top 3 of the worst teams. Congratulations!
