Always on losing team -_-

This is really annoying, every time I go into a slayer match it always ends with my team losing. I dunno if its just poor matchmaking, or maybe since I suck I get put with other people that suck. Anyone else have this issue?

Nope, sucks to be you I guess. I have a pretty even w/l ratio.

Since you have only played 8 matches, I would suggest you give it a little more time before you get too upset.

This is your chance Spartan. Rise up against inconceivable odds and bring your team home with a victory smile on their faces.

Seriously though, as a solo player I get matched with super -Yoink- team mates sometimes and crazy -Yoink- gods the other times. The best you can do is bring your A game to the table and hope for the best from your team. The better you do, the more inspired your team will feel and they’ll play better too. Seriously.

Trust me bro, I suck too. We seem to draw in others like us. Even in Grifball, my best game, there seems to be someone else just a bit better on the other team. Meanwhile, when someone runs in front of my Hammer out of their own volition, and kick me for it, it gets frustrating, truly frustrating. But hey, we’ll get better.

Gonna go with Blue here. You’ve got to play some more. With so few games, the system has no idea who to match you with so, yes, it could be a matter of poor matchmaking, but also anyone can have a string of lousy games. I’ve had 10+ losing streaks before, but I’ve also had 10+ winning streaks, so it ultimately balances out. Get in there and play some more and see if your luck doesn’t change!

Happens to everyone. Don’t think you’re the only one—and I know it sucks so much and is so frustrating. I’ve had a serious bout of Slayer suckage being matched with losing teams and have lost about 3 ranking levels due to it. But then I did have one day where I had been matched consistently with people who could actually play and knew how to work together effectively. I just wish those days weren’t so rare!

If you ever want to pair up on a team in Slayer, send me an invite or ping me when I’m on-line. Even if we don’t win all the time, we can at least be mutually frustrated!

Thanks for all the replies, I guess since I haven’t played that many games the matchmaking system doesn’t know where to put me and I haven’t been playing well in those matches.

This happens alot on all modes.

It’s rarely an even game.
One team always does good throughout the match and even if you did great. You still lost.
.
During the game the only mic you hear is a guy with a Kinect that doesn’t talk.
.
Game ends and 8 people are bragging they won…
They won because they had been able to communicate during the match.
They get a tactical advantage.

The learning curve is a big one with this game. I went from feeling godly in Halo Reach and Halo 4 to feeling like a complete noob in Halo 5. I could not get a kill to save my life, I would be lucky to score a 0.5 KD in any match. But if you keep at it and stay committed, the skill you have in you will naturally start to appear as you become more experienced. This game is different, but once you learn how to use the differences in gameplay to your advantage (spartan abilities, physics, etc), your natural halo skill will take care of the rest.

You are a Spartan now, don’t disgrace this rank. You aren’t marine anymore or should I send you back to the basic training again?
Suck it up, Princess. Get your gun and show me how much of a Spartan you truly are.

Everybody has good games and bad games, stick with it. You’ll do fine in the long run.
