Alternative death sequences a killer idea?

A musing I’d like to share with the community (and the bods at 343): having alternative death sequences as part of the un-lockable content in the game. These can be humorous and even tip a nod to well known films/tv shows etc, like some of the examples listed below:

  1. “The Platoon” - imagine Willen Dafoe missing his ride whilst being shot in the back by Charlie.

  2. “The Joe Black” - the car crash sequence where the body leaps sporadically into the air and lands with contorted limbs on the floor.

  3. “The Terminator” - following that killer headshot, the body decends into the Earth upright with one arm in the air and just before the hand disappears it flicks a thumbs up.

No doubt the community can come up with many many more like I have. Would be great to hear other ideas and if 343 feel there’s something credible here, then lets hope to see this in Halo 5!

For Campaign, I’d have liked an alternate death cutscene for failing the Broadsword run near the end.

For Spartan Ops, I’d have liked more in-game cinematics showing our Spartan, like in E6C1 and E10C5.
