Alright what do we want guys? -Halo 5 Forge

Open to converse

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I want a map editor!

Ya. We should be able to go way detailed with forge. Also, use Xbox ones full potential!

A fully blown map editor would be fantastic for Halo 5. Adding a feature like that into a Triple A, Exclusive such as Halo would most certainly get a lot of people talking.

But of course, There is the factor of Time. And it would be understandable if 343 couldn’t make it work.

If that is that case, I would love to see Weather effects. The ability to add rain, Storms, Snow and Hail to certain maps, Making the experience even more amazing.

I would love to see Buttons and Consoles. Items where you, As a player, can press and activate a trap door or vehicle spawn or something along those lines. That would be great for custom games and would add even more creativity.

Just go all out. The Xbox One may not be the most powerful machine, But it’s still way more powerful than the 360. These features would be incredible.

Perhaps wall pieces with blood stains on them?

Any chance for some Covenant theme items for once? Cause that is one thing I noticed that has been kinda lacking the last couple of games.

  • 3 forge worlds (Standard/Space/Desert)
  • dynamic doors (open/close)
  • Animals (like Far Cry 3)
  • Forerunner/Human/Covenant structures
  • Wether effects (Rain/Snow) [only Standard Map]
  • Elephant [only Desert Map]
  • Sabre or another aerospace craft [only Space Map]
  • Pelican!

I would love to see a Covenant themed one. The fact Halo 4 didn’t have any sort of Covenant themed maps was slightly odd as well. We all love that purple.

A select and group tool.
Essentially, you can tag multiple objects and group them together so that they can be moved and manipulated as one.

Copy pasta (one or many objects at the same time)
Different themes for the blocks.
Better placed magnets.

I’m pretty sure Certain Affinity developed most of if not all of Forge for Halo 4.

Outside of actually having fine-editing so I don’t spend two hours trying to get one block to line up with three other blocks?

I just want to have custom colors. Forge isn’t a team game, I shouldn’t be forced to choose between 8 primaries.

What about if forge got its own disk?

Ka five would not like this post. #ONEDISC

In all seriousness, I’m all for a huge forge with a full blown map editor but lets keep everything on a single disc. It needs to be a seamless transition.

Then we should definitely make it a top priority.

OT:

I’m 100% supportive of a full-blown Map Editor provided that it is not only ported to the PC, but also that the PC port runs on all operating systems, especially Linux.
