Alright, this is the last straw.

As many of you, I have been a part of this game since early November. I’ve had patience, more patience, and I feel the outcome from all this doesn’t seem to be worth it anymore. I always try and see what the newest update will be and how this will effect the game. But to me, this is going to be the last straw.

When I came across this article I was in hopes of actual differences to make in the game. Yeah, sure, Halo 4 and Team Hardcore are being introduced back as playlists. In my opinion, big whoop. Yet they claim later in the week there will be another update that “includes updates to UI and a variety of other areas.” Really? Are we still going to have such generalized information to expect in the next update that we honestly have no idea how or when this game will ACTUALLY be fixed? Most of these updates are fixes from their PAST UPDATES. Every update that has been set onto this game creates a couple extra problems that need tweaking. Yet it takes 343 weeks to fix these small tweaks.

What I’m really trying to say here is that 343i needs to set their priorities straight. A lot of people who bought this game wanted to play matchmaking and yet over two months have passed and there’s still only one playlist for ranking and only faster matchmaking. So I’m on my last leg with this game, and if I don’t see this next update or two with REAL meaningful updates I don’t think I can continue giving my support to this company.

Anyone else agree?

Agree 100%. The difference between you and me is that I’ll be selling my Xbox One a month from now if things don’t significantly change.

I bought my Xbone for this game, Halo 5, and Destiny.

This game doesn’t work.

The Beta for Halo 5 made me smash my controller.

Destiny has a special “Bungie” charm, but gets too repetitive for my blood. So yeah, I think I will be selling mine soon.

They don’t have enough time to test their fixes with you people getting angry about them being late with the patches. But seriously, they should have just delayed MCC instead of releasing a broken game. Although, it may have just been because of the H5 Beta. But you know, they could have just delayed that too.

I am a little upset with this patch, too. It seems that they have addressed so little from having 3-4 weeks to work on something worth it. This just seems like the typical 1 week updates we have been getting all along.

I gave up on 343 a long time ago, in fact right about when Halo 4 released was when I knew this developer was a wrong fit for the Halo series. I’m not surprised about MCC being a disaster but I didn’t expect it to be this bad or go for this long and 343 have conducted themselves in a horrible manner. Even EA/DICE had the decency to announce to their fans that all work on Battlefield Hardline would come to a halt until BF4 was in an acceptable condition. Halo 5 will be the first Halo game that I won’t be purchasing brand new within the year it was released, I’ll be waiting at least a year or 2 for it to drop down to < $20 just to see what shenanigans the Chief is up to in campaign despite the fact that I love Halo’s multiplayer more than any other game out there. What a damn shame.

Actually all they did was give battlefield hardline to a different team, Visceral games…While Dice was also working on Battlefront 3…Only BF4 Dlc was halted

We’re all suckers for buying into this generation of consoles.

Why? Sunset Overdrive, Dead Rising, Ryse and KI have been great with more greatness to come, not even mentioning 3rd party titles…

Yeah, this upcoming patch is underwhelming.
How much longer do I have to wait for legitimate ranking, and matchmaking based on rank? How much longer for dedicated servers?

What is so angering is the fact that the stuff in the first seven patches should’ve been stuff that the first patch fixed 100%. We should be working on little bugs at this point (like Assault in 2A having old and new commentating mixed together, creating a non-unified sound), not waiting for dedicated servers and rank, which was advertised upon time of sale.
