During Reach, I made quite a few maps and only a couple of them did I show off. This map I am posting here was one of the ones I kind of kept secret.
The very first version started off as kind of a gimmick and every time I remade it, the map became a little more serious with each version. This version I am posting isn’t really the same map anymore, but a re-imagining. I posted some screenshots a couple weeks ago and I was surprised by the positive feedback as I don’t think you guys would like it.
So without further ado, here is SECTIONED.
It’s two base, red and blue of course that face off to each other. It’s a four level map and I really paid attention to keeping the combat flow good. A problem I see with multi-layered maps is typically the upstairs is just as complicated as the bottom floor which creates players to want to hang out for the entire game upstairs. In this map, the floors have a smaller combat space as you move closer to the top floor. This way, combat stay combative, so to say.
Anyway, enough lecture. Tell me what you think and just so you guys, know, I still am a little reluctant to show this one as I still think it may be something you guys won’t really like.
All gametypes supported EXCEPT for Flood and Extraction
