I was watching some Halo 4 videos. And I remembered a Halo4Follower video that showed a leaked WIP cutscene thing.
This scene was said to be trashed, however that doesn’t mean that the the story of this clip is gone, what I mean is that this scene is gone, but the Purple Jedi is still in the game. Why would they make only one scene of this thing and why did they make it anyway?
So now that we know a lot about Halo 4. What part of the story do you think this is, Is the purple guy the Ancient Evil? The Orange guy is most likely a Spartan 4 on the Infinity, judging from the enviorment. This is just a crazy Idea.

I thought it was confirmed a LOOOOOOONG time ago that that scene has nothing to do with Halo 4. Correct me if I’m wrong though.

idk i could see that being a fake. but if it is real. then great. cant wait for it. but if it is real i dont want it to be leaked i want to experience it along with the rest of the story and not have things spoiled.
Maybe the Didact? However I don’t think he would really be the antagonist of the story. Possibly its a misunderstanding or something between the characters.

I don’t think its the Didact, unless he like inhabited a Human body or something.
The Didact wouldn’t even fit in that room. Prometheans are huge, arms are said to be like tree trunks.
But, maybe Faber. As a builder, Faber would be smaller. But I’m not sure if he would be that Human sized. The facials could just be placeholder if that was the case, because that guy looks a lot like a Human.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I’m not sure though that’s either Lasky or Chief though. Maybe it’s the commander of the Infinity or a random marine.
I think that the story will have some reference to the supposedly leaked cutscene (if it isn’t fake).
The cutscene itself shows the direction in which 343i was thinking and if they trashed it, it doesn’t mean they trashed the whole idea. I think we will have some “Blue Jedi” guy going around in Halo 4 and I think the Chief or whichever character those figures were representing, will find himself face to face with the foe.

I was thinking the same thing OP–trashed or not, there would have been no point to begin with if it had nothing to do with the story.
But the only characters I can imagine that would be able to warp reality like that would be the Precursors. I still hold to the idea that they are the Bigger Bad in this thing; in this case, they could have transferred some of their power to that human (or whatever).
But we’ll see soon enough…
