I have been one of those people who without a doubt has been a little Critical of 343 over the last year, but at the same time I was hyping them up soo much for this fall because i thought they were really going to blow us away and Start Halo infinite’s rebirth in season 3. Well… They blew me away, but probably not in the way they hoped. I was willing to wait for this game to get off its feet, but 2 years is just too long to pull your head out of the sand and finally launch a polished product with only some of the bells and whistles of the previous games that you already made!
When a game from one of the largest and most renown names in the industry has issues that should have been fixed within the first 3 to 6 months of launch and it takes 2 full years to address them. I’m sorry, that’s just inexcusable, and you can no longer call this a finished game, So lets call it what it is, we’re all a bunch of testers in 343’s infinite beta.
I want so badly for this game to succeed, but every time the developers open their mouths it’s always 1 step forward and 2 steps back. It might be time that you bring in more people from the community. Of all the halo youtubers, i swear probably 60%-75% of the videos coming from them seem to be negative coverage, halofollower, mintblitz, seanw. Clearly something is wrong, and maybe the first step is admitting there is a problem and asking for help. Whether it is from the community or if you have to beg Phil Spencer and Microsoft for more resources. Please do something different!
This is Microsoft’s flag ship title. Please treat it as such. Who does everyone think 343 should talk to in order to get the help and feedback to really start moving in the right direction quickly?
i think the large WCIII refunds were requested around the launch window.
You can request a refund within a span of 2 weeks to a month on the xbox digital store.
Anything longer than that kinda falls under “too much time passed” and you are no longer eligible for a refund.
Personally I’m not sweating the $10 total i spent on infinite for the first season pass. I basically got the campaign and multiplayer for free. I know some people bought the $60 campaign and if they did this recently and want a refund they should request it.
You didn’t hear the whole story then:
Wc3 Reforged’s quality was so bad that there was massive uproar when they stopped refunding, and then they gave in and allowed refunds after, no questions asked.
I heard that part. Those requests were still submitted during the launch window or within a short window after purchase.
It’s still available now. This was last updated 3 months ago, so it was still valid this year.

Good point. I stand corrected.
343 took years to get MCC right. I think infinite will be the same and by then it won’t be relevant. They had 1 chance to get it right and they blew it
And this is what pisses me off the most. God I hate 343.
That’s honestly the thing that ticks me off the most. One would think they would have learned from their mistakes with the MCC and halo 5, but they just keep making the same mistake over and over again. It’s just embarrassing at this point.
Not just repeating the same mistakes, but each time they do it bigger and bigger. And somehow they (and some fanboys here) have the nerve to say the player are a problem for expecting a finished and working product.
And the fix for the desynchronization making this game unplayable, we have to wait for season 117?
We have the right to a season of almost a year, for what result in the end…
The addition of only two maps, the cancellation of the split-screen co-op that is a staple of Halo games.
Frankly, 343 industries is clearly not up to scratch and is rotting the license well.
It’s time to hand over to a more motivated and above all more competent studio.
