Went online to check on possible fixes for what i think is the worst feeling aim in a halo game and the first thing i see are how to guides on how to set up a cronus zen for Halo infinite. Is there going to be any way to detect or ban the use of these devices? They had already ruined other fps games.
I already gotta deal with the horrible feeling controller aim and going up agains MnK, but these are things i can overcome with practice (but still hope 343 fixes aim) but going up against no skill cheaters is a whole nother story

Nah I got a elite series 1 no need for controller hacks
I guess anybody who plays better than you must be cheating
never said that, but people who use mods and devices to control aim functions are.
and i also use an elite, both series 1 & 2. All that does is remap buttons to a diff location, thats fine because u still have to press them and they are not modified in any way. Cronus and strike pacs allow you to run scripts and macros that can do the work for you like auto correcting recoil and many other things.
How are you judging this though? I’ve had numerous people “claim” I use something like this when I play COD.
I thought your post was about you buying a cronus and asking if there was anything to detect it?
haha no, im fully against it. i made it because i went online to see what controller settings people where using to get the aim down better, and was already seeing people put up tutorials on getting cronus set up for infinite. I thinnk those users should get a perma ban

People can play dumb all they want, but these are legitimate concerns and I’ve ran into my fair share of pathetic losers in halo 5 using these. I’d go to their pov and clip and record it sending it to them even if they were on my team.
"I use an elite controller " you don’t say? I do to, and my reticle doesn’t ever move like that nor even professional players…matter of fact I seen someone get DQ from a tournament match over the broadcaster realizing that reticle movement isn’t natural in the slightest.
. Impossible shots being it with extremely unnatural movement of the reticle (talking about 5 where everyone should be using a game pad) to people pre aiming and tracking a moving target behind a freaking wall for seconds on end…to the AR or carbine doing these crazy rapid shots.
So it doesn’t surprise me that infinite will have players like this popping up. I mean…there’s an entire community that’s really into that stuff.
The best detection is you sending in clips to the support section. Now that there is inputs of both mouse and game pad though, it may perhaps not be as easy for some people to tell that you’ve just been bested by a very good player on a mouse with of course smoother control of the reticle. We got aim assist, sure…but we’re still using 1 digit vs them an entire hand. So altho even a gamepad user can have great control over the reticle movement, comparing that to the equivalent mouse user I’d easily imagine is a pretty big difference still.
Both input players have their own skill spectrums and not every single player using a mouse has the best aim, but if you suspect anything fishy all you can do is clip and submit a ticket.
