So for those who don’t who don’t really care about the expansive lore or just haven’t gotten into it yet I recommend reading Halo New blood a book about alpha nine after the events of halo 3. But if you’re currently reading i’d recommend you leave before I spoil this.
So we all know that after the death of the rookie romeo mickey and buck all went to become spartan 4’s with dutch returning later after halo 5 I think? Blah blah blah story story but soon we discover after halo 5 that Buck, Romeo, Dutch, And Mickey all join up again and that’s all we know. Mickey being a traitor would be a little weird but the thing is the gang’s back together could we possibly see a halo odst 2 or will alpha nine assist Blue team against Cortana and her guardians? Let me know what you think since after completing halo odst again for the 100th time I really want to see the lively team come back together to show the covenant a thing or two.
I’d like them to ignore what they did in the book. I thought it was quite a waste, for no good reason. I certainly would like another game featuring Alpha Nine.
I haven’t read the books, just wiki entries. Didn’t Buck beat Mickey to death in the book? That’s why I was really surprised when they said Buck was finding the team members, including Mickey.

No, he only fought Mickey until he submitted. He was then taken into custody by ONI.
Overall, both New Blood and Bad Blood are good reads.
As far as being in the game, I’d rather Alpha-9 stay out of Infinite and keep the story focused on Chief. But as something akin to Halo 3: ODST? I could definitely see a Halo 6 spin off game about Alpha-9’s missions during the Created uprising. It wouldn’t be an ODST sequel in the strictest sense since they are all Spartans, but it could be seen as a spiritual successor to the original ODST game.
While i am a fan of Alpha Nine i think they want to kinda leave them out. But say they do add them then they would probably only contain Romeo and Buck and not Mickey as not to spoil the books. I dont know if Dutch would come back from retirement.
