Almost 90,000 players!

Hi guys

I was on Reach last night(extremely disapointed about BTB) and I saw that there were 89,000+ players online! That’s the most Reach has had in a long time, I’m pretty sure. It’s strange that everyone would go on after the update, maybe it was just a coincidence or maybe it’s a rebellion or something. Who knows. Just sayin.

Reach hits 95-100k players each night at peak times, it isn’t a rare occurrence.

This has nothing to do with the update. Reach has always had an abysmal population.

Yeah i have seen close to 100,000 lately during peak times.

I have seen 100,000+ you just have to be on at certain hours. Remember back in 2010 the 595,000 people online Sept 14 at around 2:00 AM.

LOL 100k and people are happy with that. Reach is the minor league compared to Halo 2 and 3.

Wow, you are such a hypocrite Moa… First you say that Reach barely has a population, and now you say it has always had one? You are such a tool…

LOL Halo 3 rarely got above 100k you fool!

Agreed. Lol.

lower than what it usually is at, (for me anyway) times I’m on that’s about 10k less players.

Nope. During its prime it regularly had over 50k in Team Slayer alone. It had around 150k-300k on almost all the time. You’d know this if you actually looked at the individual real-time playlist counts in-game while they were still working.

If anything, it’s definitely gone down after the update. On weekends, it goes as high as one hundred and twenty thousand players.

QFT

I wonder if people be thinking before typing, hmmm. One can still wonder, right?

halo 3 was stable at 300-600k in its first year then hold steadily between 100-400k later but i remember it was almost a million when odst came out
offcourse in September to October 2007 halo 3 easily reached over 1 million player playing at the same time

I’m pretty sure it went down since the update since it’s usually a bit highter but since the update people have been fuming.

That is a higher population than a lot of countries. Line up one hundred thousand people and see if you think that is a small number of people.

Halo 3 got over one million players THREE years after launch. I don’t think Halo 3 has ever been low until 2011.

Many games do have a population. Hmm, who’s the tool here? -_- 100k is still quite low, though, compared to other games.

Gee, wonder if the multiplayer being on a stand alone disc with ODST had something to do with it …

You mean 2009.
Your thinking of date November 9,2009 that’s 2 years not 3. Also that’s one day before COD Modern Warfare came out and set new records for 2009.

3 years after launch was September 25 2010 2 weeks after Reach ,September 14 2010, came out.
