The first halo 4 trailer was released at e3 2011 343 has shown nothing since then its almost like they showed the trailer & said crap we have no idea what to do, to be honest sega with sonic the hedgehog has impressed more then 343 have done with halo
Watch out before the fanbase chews you out for daring to want info. This game has been in development for quite some time, the lack of a screenshot or weapon sound or something is disheartening.
I hear they may give a hint soon, but I wouldn’t hold my breath.
It would be unwise for them to have released H4 information before Anniversary came out. The fact that you see you’re more impressed with Sonic than with 343i so far is a bit of silly statement. 343i never established some mandatory agreement to divulge information about H4 to any of us. They’re working on an important game. If you’re just upset because they’re not letting you see into the development, then you probably need to do a little growing up. Be patient. They’ll have something soon enough. More than likely, they’re waiting until they can have a great product that will blow people away.
Just relax. They don’t “owe” us anything. Any peaks they give us into H4 is a gift.
But halo 4 isn’t going to be released for another year and developing a good trailer is harder then it looks espicially if it shows anything in game but don’t worry because in christmas time 2012 there will be sooooooo much confirmed halo 4 stuff that we can all see :P:P:P ;D;D;D

Yeah…doesn’t mean much.
It’s less than a year in fact it’s more like 10 months, Nov is the likely release date. However I am sure that we will see something late this month or Feb, and then the big reveal at E3.
I’m kinda glad that 343i has kept a tight lid on things so far, it gives them more time to show the game looking closer to the final product. Bungie made that mistake with Reach, but with them they showed target footage for what they wanted the game to look like, and came up a little short in the final game. 343 know what their doing, and the hotness is on its way brother.

It’s still concept art and thus subject to change, just like that New Mombasa level shown before Halo 2 was released. And that was in-game.

But seriously this game needs a good marketing campaign if it wants to succeed and we’ve yet to see any sort of advertisement for the game besides the occasional banner on a Microsoft site showing the CGI trailer.

You lost me here. The game has about 8-10 months before it’s released. Which is less than a year. (Although it was said to be in the holiday range, past halo release dates give the possibility of a late september release date as well.)
Also, I dont think showing a bunch of info, all at once, near release should justify for being so quiet for the actual amount of time we have to wait. I KNOW it’s still a bit off. But at this point of time for Halo 3 and Reach, we’ve seen the Starry Sky TV ad. The “Et Tu Brute?” vidoc, and the Reach vidoc.
Not to mention Bungie showed off gameplay for the beta between feb-march for the beta releases in april for both Reach and 3. I KNOW 343i isnt Bungie, they OWE us nothing. But at the same time. There is nothing wrong with being curious. There’s nothing wrong with asking for information. It feels like there is nothing to be hyped about. We KNOW a Halo 4 is coming. But we dont know what it looks like, or what it plays like, or what it’ll feel like. No info about a beta. No info of gameplay mechanics beyond it using the Halo engine that all previous iterations used. And no info of just how powerful the game will be. We all would like some details, not that we want the game to be released right now, before it’s completed, but Frankie said a narrative video was in the works since November. I, along with a decent chunk of others, would like to see just what the future holds in store for us fans.
I expect a ViDoc in February for definite or possibly January. It’s less than a year from release, most Halo games already have information by this time. Information is on the way. Hang in for another few weeks. I expect enemies, weapons, graphics and maybe a few vehicles to be given out between February and March.

There would be a ton of surprises if it did.
Just wait, when the news does come, it will hit everyone harder than a tornado.
