Real quick I just want to point out how the bots got some DRIP, I love how they have their own customization (even more than us 
), really spruces up the gameplay and feel of the match. Shout out to whoever made that decision.
Alright, so don’t get me wrong, I love playing ranked and punching other players in the face as much as the next guy, but Infinite is giving me some crazy Unreal Tournament vibes from when I was a child. The reason for that is being able to play with bots and because of the gods over at 343 they’re actually competent! My only gripe is that they can’t ride vehicles (which was confirmed to being coming once they work out some kinks, I hope they give an estimate as to when) and I can’t have more than 8 bots total in Custom Games.
Not that 4v4 isn’t fun but I’m trying to have some all out mayhem with the computer, either rocking all swords on Bazaar or a BTB CTF match on Deadlock. The option to select up to 8 bots per team is there but it doesn’t work (I don’t know if that’s a bug), and to be honest we should be able to have 12 bots per team, at least on PC, where we can handle it (although I imagine Xbox can as well).
So please 343, let me kick back and relive what child version of me wanted in Halo all these years, which is a massive bot battle in BTB. Maybe throw in like a random difficulty that chooses between Recruit/Marine/ODST/Spartan for every bot. Also if they could work on forge maps in the future… that’d give me some gnarly replay value.
