I know it is possible to have zoom hold if you hold trigger or zoom toggle if you press it once but sometimes it feels inconsistent and there should be an option to completely disable it and have it set to hold only or toggle only.

How would what you’re proposing be different than the current options? If you want to have thold the button to zoom you can, if you want to have it toggle off and on you can?
