Realistick kill times? Realistically, if I’m shot even once I’m like screw this I’m going home. The fact that you can put more than 2 bullets into someone and they can think rational thoughts and maybe survive isn’t realistic. Its a game you people who have brains
If this was realisim I wold expect my character to go crazy after the first bullet shot at him
Realistically you’re not a 1 ton shielded hulk of metal
It’s a fantasy world. No one knows nothing about what it’s like
People just need to calm down and press the same buttons on their controller for every game they play
Halo 5 is really fun. I played every halo.
Halo fans need to get over them selfs. If you pushed the right trigger in halo 2. You can push the right trigger in halo 5… in the end all your doing is pushing the right trigger
Its not about being realistic, its about pacing and logic. Every time i fire a whole clip with an AR to kill someone in Halo i feel like im wasting my time with this game, literally. I like weapons that kill, a weapon that doesn’t kill isn’t a good weapon. And Halo is a shooter, not an RPG with health bars. For god sake’s it takes longer to kill in Halo than it does in Destiny, an actual RPG.
I was brought to shooters through Quake and Unreal, super fast paced shooters with very, very powerful weapons. I love Halo, its universe, lore and music, it has wonderful maps… but i need a strong stomach to endure certain quirks, like long kill times.
Firing a whole clip into someone and didn’t kill them didn’t start with halo 5. It started with halo 1

wow it must be rough being you considering this is the fastest shot to death in any halo game i’ve ever played, give or take a 3 shot death pistol in mind.
Seriously, this guy is nuts. He’s here just because he has the freedom to whine … 343. Don’t listen to people like that
I am the first person to say halo 4 was a mess. But halo 5 is such a huge step forward

Im not talking about Halo 5, but older Halos. Its 4 shots in the head, elsewhere its 5 or more shots to the body to kill someone with a BR or DRM. With an AR it takes 85% of the entire clip, in normal circumstances a clip should be enough to kill 2 players.

no, but i tend to disagree with people who think any Halo game after Halo 3 ODST was a step forward

oh, alright well i dunno i guess i’m just used to it.
The TTK is 1.34 seconds for the BR.
AR is less than that, but greater than 1 second( at 10 meters. This gets slower than a BR at 20 meters.).
Halo 1 has the fastest kill time of any Halo game with the Magnum having a .65 second TTK.
This looks like it is insanely fast, but the fact is you are used to a slower Halo game.
After Halo 1, the games have gotten progressively slower with each new game. It wasn’t until Halo 4’s weapon update that the game started to go back up.
Halo 5 is fast, but not Halo 1 fast, and not even remotely close to CoD, if that is what you are implying. It has nothing to do with realism, and instead to provide balance to weapons and to deal with new Spartan Abilities.
