All you had to do was follow Reach

Literally all you had to do, was take Halo: Reach’s lighting system, colors, brightness but no, instead, just like Halo: 5, the colors and textures and brightness and shading and shadows are just … not it. There’s no vibrancy in the colors. You telling me we waited 5 years for this? Reach is literally the best looking Halo game and it came out 10 years ago. All you had to do with this new engine was try to achieve what Reach achieved but no, instead it looks more like you’re still working off of Halo 5’s graphics, brightness, lighting, colors etc.

There’s not even a need to get into the grappling hook, clamber, sprinting that was showcased as the focal points of the reveal instead of actually trying to focus on the story. Who knows these may all just be campaign/open world only and multiplayer won’t have any of this. Then again, look at what giving you the benefit of a doubt did to us today. Like someone else said, I don’t even get upset anymore. I LITERALLY held my breath praying, hoping that finally, sprint was gone because the tech demo guy/girl restrained themselves from pressing sprint. The minute they hit that sprint button, I sighed, threw a hand up in disappointment and carried on no caring.:joy:. Clearly, the community is just talking to a brick wall. No point in getting upset over something I/we clearly have no control over. LUL. GG’s boys. Lord know what the future holds. :woman_facepalming:

it seems like you havent even watched the trailer. And comparing a 2010 game with sub 720p resolution, sub 30fps framerate, low res textures, incredible popping, to this trailer is just awful

This looks more like H2A than Halo 5. Do I think following Halo Reach would have been nice? Sure. But no other game in the series is like that. The lighting is what is throwing me off. But people saying it looks too cartoony seem to forget that Halo 3 is like the most bubbly looking game in this franchise. Thy just need to add some blood.

Nah, I watched the video. And yeah, still stands, a demo is to showcase and attract old and new players if not gameplay wise, then at least after 5 years, surely you can showcase the graphics. No duh, Infinite will be 60 fps, 4K and all that jazz. That’s not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about LIGHTING, IMMERSION, BRIGHTNESS, VIBRANCY, SATURATION, COLOR, HOW THE GAME APPEALS TO THE EYES barring the framerate. 343i has been doing this since Halo 4. The LIGHTING doesn’t look good at all. It didnd’t in Halo 4/ Halo 5 and it doesn’t look like it is/will be in Halo Infinite.
