So my waypoint profile shows my all-time top CSR as being Swat Onyx 1516 from the pre-season. However, right now I’m Onyx 1600 in Team Arena. Last season I peaked at Onyx ~1575 in Team Arena before dropping down to 1500 for the season end (played solo, big mistake).
So, does the system wait until the end of the season before updating your highest rank rather than looking at your peak rank? I saw someones waypoint profile which showed they had an all-time top CSR of Champion #91, even though they ended every season with no higher than an Onyx according to both waypoint and halo tracker. Is it just different for people who reach champion? Or is mine glitched?

It is very odd :/. I’ve just noticed one of my friends who has an all-time top CSR of Onyx ended the season with a lower CSR than what waypoint shows, so mine should definitely have updated last season then. (And then again this season because I peaked at around Onyx 1615 yesterday). Waypoint also shows my CSR as being 1557 at pre-season end but shows my all-time as 1516. I should have posted this in the support forum, if a mod could move this thread it’d be much appreciated.
So I came across someone else who has the exact same issue. If you look at their service record on waypoint you’ll notice their all-time top CSR is Onyx 1500 in FFA, yet if you look in to their season rankings you’ll see that in the pre-season they actually ended with Onyx 1585 in the same playlist, and it’s possible that they peaked above it. Disappointed to see that they also posted about this in the support forums over a month ago but never received a response, and I feel as though this thread will have the same fate. If a monitor is reading this and there’s a better way of contacting someone to get this looked at, please do let me know! It’s really annoying that, for example, I’m Onyx 1640 in Team Arena right now but if I was to end the season on Friday with a lower rank than 1640 there’ll be nothing to show that I ever reached that CSR, and it’s putting me off playing any further games this season.
Just to clarify my case:
my all-time top CSR shows as being Onyx 1516 in Swat pre-season
it didn’t update when I exceeded that in the pre-season, ending the season with Onyx 1557 in Swat, possibly having peaked above that
it didn’t update when I exceeded it in the February season, where I peaked at Onyx ~1575 in Team Arena
it isn’t updating right now, where I’m currently Onyx 1640 in Team Arena and have actually been above my ‘all-time top CSR’ for a few days now.
Edit: March season has ended, highest rank should show Onyx 1683
Over 2 weeks and no response… there’s little point repeating my post above but again, a response would be appreciated, whether it be from someone who’s able to investigate the issue or from a monitor to let me know who’s best to contact. This is an extremely annoying bug that has affected mine (and others) waypoint profiles for well over three months now! (Whenever pre-season started).
Funnily enough I noticed even Bravo’s waypoint profile has an all-time CSR stuck at an initial pre-season rank, the exact same problem I have with mine. If you check his pre-season you’ll see he ended with Onyx 1844 in FFA (possibly having peaked above that), yet his all-time CSR is displayed at Onyx 1520 in FFA.
I thought 343 Industries was a reputable company, but if this is the kind of customer service you provide then I must be mistaken. How a bug can go for over 3 months unfixed is beyond me.
I’m having issues with my all time CSR too. It should be Onyx in SWAT but its currently displaying Plat 1 from this seasons TA (my lowest this season). Still no update.
