Ha. You really think new fans like this that play casually are going to keep the game alive? Those types of fans will more often than not be gone in a matter of weeks, regardless of what 343 has planned for the game. If you want a live game you cater towards your veteran fans. If you want a dying game but want to make more money you cater towards the casuals. Simple.
Halo has not gone back to it’s old style since halo 2 anniversary. If you mean visually, fine, but gameplay it hasn’t played like traditional halo since mcc. Not to say this is a good or bad thing necessarily, but its just not true
I firmly believe Microsoft told 343 to monetize the crap out of Infinite because Microsoft had absolutely no trust in 343 delivering a successful product. They failed the last two times, the only game they released that didn’t come with massive issues on multiple levels was Halo Wars 2 which no one honestly cares about, hell I beat it and still don’t give a crap about it. A part of that is because they retconned the entire outcome of that game(and the other Halo games) out of Infinite.
I don’t care for publishers, but high moon and and another studio that worked on Destiny done better work than the Bungie today.
That’s what I was looking at.
