You know the guys that somehow manage to kill you when they rush you and you’re surrounded in a crowd of teammates? The guys who camp with all their teammates that manages to survive because his jack -Yoink- teammate kills you with a sniper when you’re about to kill him? Yeah you know who I’m talking about, stupid try hards who show off their K/D because they camp corners and rely on their teammates to take out my shields and always just finish me off with one kill. You’re the reason I’ve had to leave 6 matches in a row and get banned because what’s the point of losing if you’re not gonna perform to what your K/D says? I’d rather leave while I’m winning because I have K/D under 2 or lose with a good K/D rather than win with a bad one because of faggots who shoot at anything the color of my team, and to the -Yoink- faced teammates that steal my kills, -Yoink- you too, I hope you mistake bleach for a fruit drink you -Yoinks!-.
The second you start blaming others for your own actions you loose all credibility. Take responsibility and stop blaming other for what you do. If K/D is more important than your Win/Loss then quit Halo and play Cod. Git gud kid
Let me try this again so you understand. K/D = not important in Halo. Win/Loss = important in Halo. I don’t care what my K/D is because Win/Loss is more important. What part of this is hard for you?
Lol if you left 6 games in a row then you have no room to complain. Plus I’m pretty sure you can’t hear the person on the other team bragging about his K/D… Because NO ONE brags about their K/D! You obviously can’t play this game if your frustration is so large that you’re hoping these people kill themselves. To that I say please do leave this game and do not come back to play. We could use less people like you
Wow. Where to even start with this one. You’re clearly upset. I get that. This game can be really annoying - a fact with which I too am intimately acquainted.
Okay, so the one thing I pulled out of the wreckage here is that you’re upset by enemies who “shoot anything the color of your team.” Now I’ll admit that it’s been a very long time since I played team slayer, seriously or otherwise. I’ve never even gone into a Guardians Arena match. So maybe my memory is a little foggy here. But I really think I recall that shooting at the other team is kind of a staple of the game. Possibly - and I know I’m going out on a philosophical limb here - possibly it’s even the point of the game?
So I’m guessing you don 't really object to attacking the enemy in a team-based shooter, but that it’s the play style of the enemy that’s getting under your skin? I did see the word “camping” in there. I know that annoys a lot of people. I caught the bit about one enemy taking out your shields while another finishes you off. Yeah, that pesky teamwork can really chap my -Yoink- too. Not being sarcastic there. It’s part of the reason I don’t play team slayer anymore. I’m not a team player and playing against people who are is like smashing your face against a brick wall over and over and over again. I’m also noticing you mentioning K/D more than once so I’m assuming that it’s important to you. That’s gonna be rough on anybody who takes competition seriously and wants to climb the rank ladder. Oh, and I caught the thing about teammates stealing your kills. I’m not really sure how long you’ve played Halo, but if the universe was Halo then kill stealing has been around pretty much since the dawn of time. It’s kind of an integral part of teamwork.
And that’s more or less my take away here. You have an unhappy relationship with teamwork, yours and the enemy’s. And I’m not trying to be judgmental or facetious. I really am the least team-oriented player you will ever meet. But I stopped trying to fit my square peg into that round whole a long time ago (sorry for the questionable qualities of that metaphor) and you most clearly have not. And this is the choice you’re going to have to grapple with as you move forward. Either accept that there is no “I” in “team,” as the football coaches love to profess, or stop grinding yourself down in a play list that is designed to suck the soul from your still-living body. No more 4v4. Do FFA if you have to, but better still to go to Warzone and just play it as if it’s firefight. Ignore the team, ignore the objectives, ignore the bases. Just play for kills. I think it’s pretty satisfying, although I’ve had a few team mates who might not agree. At any rate, take a breather and give it some thought. Sorry so much of this sounded like my tongue was in my cheek - you kinda set yourself up for a little bit of that - but I really do sympathize with your misery. Team Slayer sucks. I had to suffer through it in 2, 3 and half of Reach before I finally figured out that I hate it and want nothing to do with it. Don’t be too hard on yourself if you come to the same conclusion.
