I don’t think you know what “vaulted” means. Everything that was in the season 1 battle pass can still be obtained by literally anyone.

New Reach armor customization added and locked in Season 2 update, List below:

Boy that sure is a list of things you copy/pasted with zero context or explanation of what it means.
It’s armor that was added with the start of season two and was not available in season one. They were not in the store, they were not with challenges, they weren’t anywhere.
I completed all 100 tiers of the premium battle pass, and completed just about all weekly/event challenges
I’m telling you these pieces were not available and now they are listed as “vaulted”
So… You’re thinking that 343 just… added a bunch of crap to the game that they never have any intention of letting the player earn/purchase? Because you saw the word “vaulted”?

There’s actually Season 2 things listed as “Vaulted” as well. So it might not mean it’s gone for good.
I mean it would most certainly seem that way given it says “item only available in season 1 battle pass” and “vaulted”
As stated previously I have completed 100% of the season 1 battle pass, probably 90% of the challenges, a good 80% of events and not once did I see any others items and I check the store each week as well.
I think I’ve devoted enough time to think I would have noticed this armor being available

Let me ask another way: They added a ton of brand new assets to the game for literally no reason whatsoever? They did it just to take up space on everyone’s hard drive? They spent money making these assets just for fun?
I see what your saying, could they become available at some point? Sure, but at a cost (stares at my HAZOP armor set)
The point being made is why label it as “item only available in season 1”
Let also keep in mind 343 currently doesn’t have the best track record for bugs/glitches and questionable updates
Is it possible we all weren’t meant to see this and it accidentally got overlooked with a rushed season 2 update?
Is it at all possible that we may never be able to get these items?

Easy answer: A bug. I seem to recall a lot of text issues with the game back at the launch of Season 1.
I’m not familiar with the items in question, but if these assets simply weren’t visible/available at all during season 1 and they seemingly popped up overnight, I’m inclined to believe they’re going to be available at some point during season 2.

That’s fair I can agree but I’m sure there’s going to be a pay wall of some sort for items in question, it’s just infuriating to myself and many others that items we earned for free in other titles working the franchise are no longer free and 343’s aim is to capitalize on the desire to have arguable the best armor of any halo game
They will hopefully appear in an upcoming event… that may not be a great idea now that I think of it. The MkV core wasn’t made free, a big mistake imo. All base cores should be free even if all the options are paid.
What really sucks is that even if I get the pieces I want for my Mark V Spartan. I still don’t have any coats that I like for it, and will probably just stick to my VII Spartan because of it. Armor piece wise, I just really want Charter’s Shoulders…
This is the problem with coats. You’re reliant on someone else to make the coat you’d like to wear. Which is, if your picky, you may as well be playing the lottery. In Reach, I used a Dark Red and Purple coat for my Spartan…

They haven’t mentioned though if there’s any plan to adding on to Mark V’s core though now that they’ve moved to Season 2. Which focuses on the new cores. They only seem to be expanding Mark VII cores items.

This right here is why it really rubs me the wrong way oh what’s going on with customization I would gladly pay 1-3$ for each armor piece and 1$ for coatings that I want….
They just aren’t going about the right way of targeting micro-transactions……imagine the money they would have made on 1-3$ pieces and 1$ coatings
Everyone would have been spending some money on that and the premium battle pass
Would have been a win win strategy of sorts

You know what wise is Vaulted? Rakshasa, Iron Eagle, and the entire Season 1 Battlepass.
Which means that since these 3 bundles of content are available (or going to be available very soon) that the other “vaulted” content is most likely still going to circulate and become available at some point in the future.
I expected hyperbolic reactions to this, but there’s some distinct lack of critical thought and deductive reasoning going on here.

Never had a chance to buy the soldier helmet
so will we never be able to finish the Samaria armor set and not get any of the skins/mythic affects released in season 1?
I played from November to January then stopped playing until i got back on like last week.
We really as a community need to speak up again and demand coatings either be customizable or removed. Every armor thread I see ends the same way. Everyone acknowledges these lack of armor or armor coming but inevitably it heads towards coatings be the bane of their final fashion existence.
Honestly that’s the best idea yet, all they’ed have to do is actually give us some incentive to play the game, I’ve heard adding content is a pretty good incentive, maybe they should try that
