I need people to list some downsides of Halo 5. I’m doing a discussion video about it and want to make sure I’m covering all the most controversial aspects people have discussed.
Limited Armor
No Splitscreen
Armor Design (Not an issue for me so much but some people are still unhappy with the armor)
Micro transactions
Spartan abilities
T rating (Probably not worth discussing but maybe I’ll toss in a word or two about it.)
Am I missing anything?
Sprinting.
Unless you’re including that as part of “Spartan Abilities”.
Also ADS/smartscope
Sprint specifically
Smart scope ADS looks and animations.
That’s it. For me anyway.
This doesn’t look like a list of downsides but a list of most of the core gameplay mechanics they have changed in H5G, but that’s none of my business.

Exactly. I don’t see all of these as really bad, but I know this topics have had a lot of mixed views on them. So they are worth discussing.
The lack of split screen is really disheartening. I will buy the game, but enjoyed playing with my nephew online and campaign. It was sort of a bonding thing, and given the MCC debacle, this is the last chance I will give the halo universe. I hope that they will come to their senses and include split screen.

More smart scope haters even though its just a visual change from what we are used to. It doesnt change the gameplay at all. Congrats
Sprint. Not because of its implementation, but because it has divided the community so harshly.
It’s pretty sad as to how people are helping this 343 hater. You complaining about all of the Spartan Abilities makes it painfully obvious that you’re ready to bash on any changes no matter what.
Oh, and the micro-transactions are completely harmless. Everything that can be bought can be unlocked via gameplay.

ADS, lack of Flood/Cortana and lack of playable elites.
Also Sarah Palmer since if she’s in it then I’ll hate her just as much as I did in Halo 4, can’t stand her in the Escalation comics either.

This guy isn’t a “343I Hater”. Look through his post history. He’s most likely compiling a list of things people hate so he can point out why he disagrees.

Destiny sells you a bunch of DLC and cosmetics (emotes) for money. Halo 5 stuff is all free (including DLC). Doesn’t seem too terribly comparable.

What about that Redbull fiasco? And the current thing with the 3 dances and such. (I’m not too invested in Destiny)

Well then, sorry for that. But in case you haven’t noticed, his support for 343 isn’t all that superficial in this thread. If he’s really doing what you said, he should have said so in this post.
I’d throw in unbalanced/over powered auto weapons.
Just to be clear, we’re not counting the additions that Halo 5 doesn’t have, as downsides?
Because I could be here all day listing what Halo 5 doesn’t improve upon.
