All Spartans shouldn't be on the Infinity

Will all Spartan IV’s be on the UNSC Infinity in Halo 4? Or the majority of them?
I think this is a poor decision because if it gets destroyed by something then it’ll not only be a major loss of human life, but also a major loss of Spartans, which could change the tide of the war.

Do you think 343i made sure a lot of them are on different ships other than the infinity?

Oh btw, why do I have an E3 medal? It says it’s because I contributed in the top 20%, but I don’t even know what that means. I go on this site everyday, but don’t post too much, I just read a lot.

Interesting concept. I wouldn’t mind either way.

I thought ‘you’ were the Spartan and you were practising against a load of holograms or it could be that your team are real Spartans and the other team are holograms. We don’t really know much about it yet but I’d imagine some form of Spartan in multiplayer are holograms.

The UNSC Infinity doesn’t get destroyed by that little crash, sure it’s damaged.

However, I think that the Spartan IV’s while wearing their armor could just survive that crash, I think the normal Marines and such get heavy casualties.

It’s just a wild guess.

I wouldn’t put all of the Spartan-IVs on one ship. I know that the Spartan-IVs have been training there since late-2552 to 2553, but perhaps only a small group is on board. After all, there are still Covenant Loyalists, the Servants of Abiding Truth and human rebels still out in the galaxy.

This and Thumbs up, fellow top 10’er!!!

Back OT: I think the Spartans are on there to protect The Infinity and yes, all the best Spartan IVs are on The Infinity

It would make sense for there to only be a few hundred S-IVs on the Infinity at the most. Don’t want to put all your eggs in one basket, so to speak.

OUTDATED

I’d want the most advanced highly trained soldiers on my most advanced war ship any day.

Didn’t exactly work out for the Pillar of Autumn. Or Reach.

Even if they were all on the ship, I doubt 343 would make the call to destroy the Infinity along with all Spartans aboard. If they made a similar call to that, they’d probably save some of them at least.

Lol back to square one with John being the only Spartan left in action.

minor hiccups that belong in the past. something like that couldn’t possibly happen again…

Well, those under Chief’s command do have a habit of…well…dying.

Indeed. Sometimes it seems as missons under his command in the books go wrong in some way just to counteract how unstoppable the Chief is in the games.

Last I read in Glasslands was that there were some of the best and highest trained S-IV’s, by Admiral Parangosky.

So, from tehre, I’m going to assume an amount, but not all.

This is Halo. Halo is the king of buying back Spartans. There’s totally gonna be other Spartan-IVs somewhere else.

That said, the lion’s share are on Infinity. Really, I’m quite worried for the Prometheans and Covenant that try to capture it in the campaign – they’re going up against an army of super soldiers!

Yes, but during wartimes we act different. Look at Britain during WWII. A lot of people evacuated and made makeshift landing pads for aircraft in their backyards, and would hide AA guns under large trees, etc.

It’s smart for us to not put many men on one ship or else we’ll have another Reach.
