I have noticed there are A LOT of different types of preorder armour and skins. Ones you can get from LE, Xbox edition, Gamestop, Wallmart, Amazon, Gamestation etc.
I was wondering…do you think all of this armour (and skins) should be available to the public 1 year after the release of Halo 4?
If so, how?
Should be bought with your in-game credits? (expensive)
Should it unlockable via achievements/reaching certain ranks?
Should it be all put in a DLC bundle? (eg costs 100mps)

EDIT: I’m liking the responses! I only brought this up because when I got the recon and multi threat variants for reordering reach, I felt sorry for the people who didn’t have it. I wanted to see a good balance between everyone getting the complete experience and the thrill of collective content. Hence why I thought a 1 year anniversary would be a good idea to complete the experiencing to the less fortunate players.
This same thing happened with the recon armour in Halo 3. I think that the new content should be difficult to get when it becomes available after a year. The time before will be used as the full satisfactory of the premium buyers. They would be bored of it by the time the special content becomes available anyway.
I really wanted it to stay special, and if you want all of them, you gotta make plans to get all of them. As a collector, finding DLC codes is one of the most fun, but also most expensive, parts. I spent like $20 getting all of the BF3 bonus codes and suddenly they announced the next day that they would be for sale for $3. It was only 2 months after release. I went into a rage.

I hope they keep the default locus from PAX prime and make the mighty ape bonus a skin variant,as well as change the deadeye from that build to an exclusive skin variant and make a new default. After all, BS Angel said pre-bonuses would not lock away armor, just skins(limited edition’s recruit,and console editions fotus are not pre-order bonuses because you do not need to pre-order to get them)so I don’t know why locus and deadeye would be an exeption.

Preorder bonuses are only composed of skins. When you preorder something, you get only skins and emblems, but not armor.
The armor you see in the Preorder pictures are not exclusive.
There’s no preorder armor, only skins. And 343 have said that it’s not impossible for them to consider making the preorder bonuses available to everyone after some time (maybe in a year or two).
On that note, the LE and Console bundle goodies should stay exclusive… forever and ever.
It’s skins not armor that your ore ordering. Only the limited edition or the console come with armor. And to answer your question, NO not everything should be released. Keep stuff exclusive. There’s tons if other armor, I dint know about skins if there’s variety if those. But keep stuff exclusive. If you can’t get it too bad. It’s not the end of the world.

i gotta disagree. if it was just extra stuff with the LE game i would agree because it would be like flames in reach. but to have exclusive stuff that cost 400 bucks is just ridiculous. personally i want the pre order bonuses such as the avatar props and stuff like that. skins im not too pleased with but i still would like to complete my armory.
