If anyone has any idea how to strategically unlock all the permanent loadout weapons, I, along with many others would appreciate it.
I’m currently grinding RP on Warzone Assault for the Halo 2 Battle Rifle, and I would like to speed up the process.

Start with bronze packs to get the common variants of the BR then move your way up to silver once you finish with bronze packs then to gold once you finish with gold. Or just spend lots of $$$
I started with silver packs, when you unlock everything you can with silvers it will refund you req points, then continue with gold till the same happens.
I would have started with bronze, but knowing that bronze packages may or may not have a permanent req, made me go for two sure silver unlocks instead. Im lvl 123 now and have every req I can possibly unlock with req packs. (I bought the warzone pack btw and saved every pack till all silvers were unlocked)
all u can do is grind reqs with a team and buy req packs the clever way (as described above)
I bought only silver packs until finished, now im 2 weeks into just buying golds, trying to at least get one a day during work days mon-fri, then hopefuly 5/6 packs over weekends. im approx 70% complete with reqs, cant wait to unlock some mantis and H2 BR…
Another tip is to dont just stick with warzone assault, always mix it up or you’ll become bored, i personally think being in a full 12 man fireteam on normal warzone is better than assault, daily win arena pack are worth doing too, as you can sell everything inside for at least 1000 req points usually, so its worth playing arena too at least once a day
No way to unlock the loadout weapons specifically, but as was mentioned in earlier posts the most efficient manner to acquire all of the permanent unlocks is by starting with only bronze req packs, then silver, and finally gold. You will know when a particular level req pack is completed once you begin to receive req points instead of customization/weapon/vehicle unlocks. Good luck.
Bronze, Silver, gold. you will save soooooo much req point. think about this. you buy a gold pack and get a rare you are wasting points. you can get 2 rares with 5000. so instead buy bronze first until you unlock all Common types. you will know when you have reached the end when it no longer unlocks anything and all you get back is req points. so than go to silver, same thing, keep going til you unlock all uncommon and rare types, than move to gold. doing so will save you in the long run. Also, don’t open any packs, not even the daily ones. you can have a chance to unlock even a legendary item, not a 1 time use even but a full unlock, i have done this and saved up over 300 req packs i still havent opened just to make my life easier when i get to gold.
h2 br will be among the last gold req packs you open, it is a final req and will take a lot of packs for you to get regardless.
Most people say start bronze till all commons then silver till all rares and uncommons. This is the best way of unlocking stuff in the game. you may not get the stuff you want immediately but this is the way to do it.

I have been buying only gold packs since I started playing this game and I only unlock armor pieces…(ugly ones at that lol). Obviously I’m trying to unlock new weapon variants, but I have yet to unlock any besides the preorder bonus. Buying bronze packs is confirmed to unlock weapon variants for war zone? Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I’m clueless.

This is the best approach. I now am on the gold packs, it looks like I will be there for a while!!
open silvers then touch gold.
or you could go bronze-silver-gold
but either way go gold last
