Always in these forums, even in a barber shop i hear , “balance this”,“balance that”, “DMR is OP”, or “343 ain’t doing no work”. Shut the -Yoink- UP!!! All of y’all don’t know -Yoink-!!! y’all talking about “i’m not buying halo 5”, “bungie was better”, “H4 ain’t competitive” shut the -Yoink- up, y’all know they are dedicated and had problems with the feedback and -Yoink-. They’ve been making this game since i don’t know when.Y’all gotta crying about horse -Yoink- like this. These business competitors are like savages out there. the next thread I see talking -Yoink- about 343 I’m -Yoinking!- beating they -Yoink-!!! I’m not -Yoinking!- playin’ no more!!! Y’all know they roll with Microsoft and them.

When I get home from a hard day at work, all I want to do is sit on my -Yoink- and run around and kill people on halo 4. This forum is already swarming with these communist MLG gamers who say crazy things like “equal playing field” or “no random variables”. I’m not letting my game be dictated your communist MLG ideals who don’t know what fun is. I don’t want to start out with the same boring weapons as everybody else just for the sake of “balance” and “skill”, that just makes a boring game and nobody wants to spend hours of playtime trying to get better on a video game while we have much other time to do with our lives.I appreciate and support all of 343’s actions since they are helping NORMAL gamers like me and booting out communist MLG gamers like you.

And before you post, bringing up stats does not support an argument. It just makes you look more immature thinking anything minuscule should be worried about in a video game.

Oh, and I have played all the halo games, just to let you know.

If you want a unbalanced game where you get to start with any weapon you want that is what COD is for. Halo was always about balance and an equal playing field before 343 took over. The population tells the whole story that most people hate the changes.

I don’t care much about the Mlg community, but how are they communist? And to respond to “the same boring weapons the whole time”, I guess that’s what different game types for.

I wish I could neg bang everyone but the OP. He has a point & I agree. True, he could’ve said it without the yoinks but he makes a very valid point. This thread has no reason to be locked & I hope everyone reports it because it shows how the spoiled MLG brats can’t deal with unpredictable loadouts & what equates to a LEVEL playing field since no one knows who has what & they had better be prepared for a fight instead of using a DMR to take out someone from across the map with the help of three teammates hiding behind a rock.

In that case, you can’t argue for -Yoink-. Let’s break it down.

That’s all well and good, but at this point they still have a lot of ground to cover. I feel more personal feedback on the forums would help instead of them just saying, “We read the forums!” on the Bulletins. But that’s just me.

Like rant on videogame forums? Also, same starting weapons and even playing fields is what the core of Halo’s gameplay has always been, even before MLG. If you honestly found it so boring, it makes me wonder how you managed to stay with the fanbase through multiple games. Aside from being boring, which is debatable, do you have any real valid criticisms against how Halo’s gameplay which carried it to the top for years was bad?

You don’t have to be in MLG or like MLG to want fair, balanced gameplay. I certainly don’t give a -Yoink- about MLG. I’m also not a communist, but I’ve given up on you saying anything the least bit intelligent at this point.

I’m not ignorant, I know what goes on in these forums and I can’t let the game be taken over by these communist MLG people who are trying to make the game boring.

There are players who feel the same way you do, but however, coming to complain here about some of the community complaining here is not going to help anything. “Communist MLG Players,” you do not know if it’s MLG that are only offended, there are some players who are not, even not competitive, who are complaining here. Halo wasn’t completely competitive either back then, you should know that as well since you stated that you played all the Halo’s. Yes, 343i wanted to try out a few new niches here-and-there for Halo, mix it up a bit, but there are others who have different preferences.

Yes, they make rude posts, but didn’t you think maybe they got ticked off before getting on the forums? On that one complain that they recently faced before hand? And just wanted to vent some anger, not realizing what they’re typing is not helping?

Halo has not always been about equal playing field. Halo is about fun.

Fun is subjective. The core gameplay everybody played in prior to Halo 4 was, for the most part, equal, balanced and fair. A lot of people find that fun, they like the challenge of games between equally skilled opponents. They strive for close games and the thrill of the race for the top spot. Others prefer a more laidback experience, be it through Social playlists or fun custom games. Previous games, though Reach probably less so, managed to cater to these two groups. You had Ranked and Social playlists and enough custom game options to make any style of play you wanted.

But for the most part, balanced gameplay was at the core for nearly all styles of play. It provides a clean, malleable slate for anyone to build off of. Halo 4? Not so much.

I thought that the campaign was well done, but the multiplayer matchmaking still feels very unfinished. When will they incorporate a ranked and social split? I would think that would be the easiest way to appease everyone. It seemed to work very well in Halo 3. It was nice being able to choose a set of gametypes that weren’t flooded with angry 12 year olds that are MLG wannabes (at least I hope they are only 12).

Challenge is subjective as well. Also ranked and social playlists just divide the communtiy too much.
