is all of the MCC download required in order to play just a single games campaign? i have a physical Copy purchased from holiday season 2017. i just want to play halo ce, i have every other game dowloaded on its original console.except halo

On Xbox there is a feature that allows you to start games before they are fully installed - utilizing that, you can make use of MCC’s intelligent install feature, which allows you to select / deselect anything you want or don’t want. I don’t believe that’s possible to do on PC (I may be wrong), so on PC you maybe to install everything and then open it up, go into Settings and remove anything you don’t need.
i know about this feature thatcis why i prioritized halo ce but it still says missing content.i do not want to download all the other games. i just want halo ce
That workaround doesn’t seem to work now. I tried unchecking all the items but the one I wanted (H4 SP) and applied the change. The download immediately froze and then failed. I was unable to get it to resume and had to start over downloading the 180 GB bundle at a glacially slow 150Mb/s, which is about 1/8 of my total bandwidth and 1/8 as fast as Steam and Origin games come in. My remaining hope is that I can uninstall the ones I don’t want once the bundle is finished. All this because I decided to give H4 a play on a whim.
