All my feedback and ideas

///Multiplayer Free to Play = Perfectly fine, nothing wrong with switching to a Free to Play model. I don’t think anyone actually cares about it being F2P. This is technically a good thing since it expands the number of potential players and thus increases matchmaking population to draw from. Its the other aspects of this where you end up hurting yourself.

///Cash Shop = First off, thank you for not doing the Loot Box bit other games have been doing, for whatever the reason may be. Gamers are quite sick of this practice. That being said, $20 for cosmetics is not alright. The concept of bundles doesn’t work out, either. Let’s assume you put something out a bundle, and the only thing in there that a person ends up wanting is a Helmet. They can’t just pay for that helmet, instead they have to buy the bundle, and the bundle costs more cause its a bundle. And the prices themselves are way too high as is.

Bare in mind, its a known fact that people will be more willing to spend more if you reduce the cost so you increase the number of people paying out to your shop. Also bare in mind, people are likely to change their appearance as well, so if they pay 10 or even 5 bucks for something, what if something else for that same armor slot comes out that they want to replace the other thing that they just bought? This makes a person feel like they’re wasting their money.

So my suggestion would be, stop doing the bundles. Instead, expand the shop to list EVERYTHING you have currently created and ready to be sold. Don’t do the rotating shop selection concept. Just put it all out, no time limits. And assign a Dollar Amount to each individual item. You have talented artists. All you have to do is just keep putting out new cosmetics and people will keep buying. But its absolutely imperative that you keep the cost LOW. Remember, you’re trying to sell to everyone, not just the “Whale” types who can afford to throw money around.

///Skill Based Cosmetics = One of the things that made Halo 4 Multiplayer really good that I would like to see return is Cosmetics that can only be earned through achievements. So instead of people just buying everything or getting it from the Battle Pass, I think you should have armor that is universal (Can be used on any Armor Core) which can ONLY be obtained through personal achievement either in the Campaign or Multiplayer. Weapon Master was a great idea. Have something similar, and when someone completes it they get an armor piece exclusive to that particular achievement.

This can be used to give players a reason to keep engaging with the Campaign after beating it as well as something else to work towards within Multiplayer besides the Challenges. And since these pieces would be usable on any Armor Core, everyone would have ample reason to get it, including someone like me who will only be exclusively playing with the Mark V.

///Spartan Titles = In addition to the above point regarding Cosmetic Rewards for Achievements? Add “Spartan Titles” which will display on our profiles in-game as well as show up during the start of a match when each person is introduced. All Titles would be earned via Achievements, like “Pistoleer” for someone who gets 200 Headshot Kills with the UNSC Magnum. (Sidekick…? Why rename it Sidekick…? Anyway)

///Weapon Challenges = These should probably get taken out. It creates too many issues during matches, and you can’t always get these weapons to even try and complete said challenges. If you wanna keep the Melee Challenges? That’s fine, I guess. But in my opinion I would only have Challenges that apply specifically to the game modes.

///All Modes have Challenges = I would do away with Challenge Swapping, and instead have it so there’s a list of challenges you can do each week for each individual Game Mode. That way if someone ends up thrown into an Oddball game, there’s a whole list of Challenges specifically for that game mode that they can work on. This will avoid frustration for players trying to do mode specific challenges but they never get in those modes cause the game just keeps tossing them into Slayer or Strongholds, etc.

///Challenge Swaps turned into Challenge Refreshers = Change the mechanics of how Challenge Swaps work by instead allowing players to use these consumable items to re-activate a Challenge they’ve already completed. So building off of the above idea, let’s say someone completes most of their challenges for Capture the Flag, but they want a reason to keep playing that mode and getting challenge exp from it? This would allow them to do so.

///Player Select Game Modes = We have to stop this random game mode shtick. You should have the player population to easily manage keeping all of these modes populated in matchmaking. That being said, if you go with my ideas above? You’ll be able to use the Challenges as a means of incentive to WILLINGLY choose to play modes like Oddball or Strongholds. But yeah, you can keep the Quick Play option, but definitely allow players to pick and choose which Game Mode they want to matchmake for. Sometimes I’m just feeling like CTF, y’know? Other times I wanna do Slayer. Its all about what mood I’m in. And you can incentivize me to play all the modes by making it so each mode has its own list of challenges available for them.

///ALL Halo Weapons/Vehicles Please = Halo as a series has introduced a LOT of weapons and vehicles. Like the UNSC SMGs? The Mantis? I loved the Mantis. Dude, you added Mechs to the Halo franchise, that was boss. I don’t like how 343 gets crap so much, I thought Halo 4 was really good. I’m sad to see that Halo Infinite added more new weapons, which many of them are cool don’t get me wrong. But like…why do we keep seeing old tech from previous titles disappearing?? I would bring ALL of this content back. I mean the game is called “Halo INFINITE”…

So go all out, bring it all back into the fold. Including being able to Dual Wield SMGs or Magnums. Its very possible, there was a game called Project Blackout that had a KRISS Vector in it with a special fire mode that allowed you to dual wield two of them for more firepower, but it absolutely killed your ammo and added crazy bullet spread, meaning you had to get in close for it to be effective but it was sooooo fun.

And for vehicles, I know you added the Wasp, but what about the Falcon from Halo Reach? Imagine how awesome it would be to have that thing in Multiplayer? (Hell, in the Campaign as well) One player pilots the ship and then your team jumps in to man the side guns? The Falcon was such a cool vehicle. Bring this thing back.

///Rocket Lock-On = So I’m not sure if its just me, but it feels like the Rocket Launcher and Rocket Warthog don’t lock onto enemy vehicles anymore?? I know for a fact the Rocket Launcher used to do it. Can you re-add that function?

///Bulldog Ammo/Buff = I’m going to be charitable and assume the Bulldog is an evolution of UNSC Weapons Tech and is an upgraded Shotgun lore-wise? That being said, why is the Ammo Capacity for this thing so small? The Shotty used to be a viable primary weapon at one point in time in Halo, again referencing Halo Reach. This goes for the Campaign too, like the weapon itself is in desperate need of more ammo capacity. Not Mag size, to clarify, I’m talking the max ammo you can carry for it. I also think the gun needs a damage buff, cause if this is an evolution of the UNSC Military Shotgun that could kill a player in one hit in Multiplayer for the vast history of the Halo series? Then yeah, the Bulldog needs more power.

The downside to the Shotgun was always its lack of range and its low rate of fire, which in exchange it got near insta-kill power. Halo Infinite is suppose to be a throwback to the glory days of Halo, right? Then yeah, give us this back. If people complain? Screw 'em. In the past we had to get good at beating players who had a shotty. The shotty wasn’t all-powerful, you just couldn’t go rushing at people, and so CoD kids who tried playing Halo always got obliterated as a result. Halo isn’t CoD. Halo is Halo. (And no, please don’t make it a Power Weapon like the Energy Sword or Rocket Launcher, the Shotgun was NEVER as good as these other weapons even with its insta-kill ability)

///Commando Buff = I assume the Commando is the DMR from older Halo games. That being said, this gun needs a serious damage boost as well. Its suppose to be the poor man’s Sniper Rifle, in that it lacked the raw stopping power of the Sniper Rifle but it could still function like a sniper in that it rewarded good accuracy. Even so, it seems way too weak. The Battle Rifle (Which is perfect, by the way, don’t do anything to this weapon) makes for a better sniper than the Commando, which shouldn’t the case. The Commando should be the Long Range proficient UNSC basic weapon.
Assault Rifle = Close Range
Battle Rifle = Mid Range
Commando = Long Range

///Stockpile Changes = You gotta reduce the number of Energy Seeds that spawn on the map. Teams should need to assault the enemy base to steal Energy Seeds in order to win a point. Also, don’t group all the spawns together. Put the Energy Seeds in different locations so that teams have to split up to grab them instead of everyone converging on one location and a couple guys just herding enough seeds to gain a point back to their base. This will make it more likely that each team will have at least one or two seeds each and force each other to have to break through to steal seeds. Also, reduce the time it takes to steal a seed.

///Assassinations = Please…PLEASE re-introduce Assassinations to the game. I really did enjoy these, both in the Campaign and Multiplayer. You can have base animations and then even sell us or include new animations in the Battle Pass and or Cash Shop. (Just make sure you keep that price low as was discussed above) I also want to see these usable in Halo Infinite’s Campaign as well. I wanna see Chief getting brutal on the Banished. While you’re at it, have Cortana 2.0 do voice lines at random for when Chief pulls these off. It would feel very satisfying.

That’s all I have for now. I might do another list if I can think of more things. I was going to go into feedback on the Campaign but I may just make that its own thread.
