May you please fix the controller’s settings and calibration? All of my controllers (both new and current) drift a lot while I am not using my controller. It either keeps looking up and turn diagonally up, slowly but surely. I updated all my controllers, test each button and stick, and all of them are ok to play with. I tried other games like Call Of Duty games and even the unpopular games like King of Fighters '94 and never had drift or moving without pressing or moving the controller. This has been going on for a good 2 years now and I did not say anything about this matter until now.

> This is exactly what controller dead zone settings are for…
Hey FFAJ. Yes, I tried the deadzone settings. At first, my controller stopped drifting. But, for the past few days, it started again. I do not know what was the purpose of deadzone settings, exactly. I do not remember seeing the deadzone in the first trilogy of halo games. I do not know what I am doing wrong.
Deadzone settings are a settings feature in The MCC that weren’t in the original games but have proven themselves to be a valuable setting across all titles. The function of this setting is to calibrate at which point the controller’s sticks begin to receive input on a per-game basis. With a little tweaking, I feel confident we can get this fixed for you!
Start off by going into a custom game on whichever game you want to calibrate the stick drift on. - Once loaded into the game, move around a bit to get the controller warmed up. - Center your weapon’s crosshair on a small still object directly in front of you and place the controller down to observe the results. - If you notice drift in the aim, pause the game and go into Settings > Controls (if on PC you will have to go into Configure Gamepad from this screen). - On the Controls page, make sure you have the correct Game selected for the game you are currently in. - Scroll down to the “Look Axial Dead Zone” and “Look Radial Dead Zone” settings. My suggestion is to start by setting both of these values to the maximum value (20%). - Head back into the game and repeat steps 2 and 3. If you still notice drift (very rare at this point), you will have to lower your look acceleration and/or look sensitivity until the drift (hopefully) goes away. - If you don’t notice drift anymore (this is what I expect you to find), then you will want to slowly drop the Look Axial / Look Radial dead zone by 1% and repeat steps 2 + 3. - You will want to keep repeating step 8 until you notice drift again, at which point you will want to increase the affected dead zone by 1%. - Essentially, the goal is to get the Look Axial Dead Zone and the Look Radial Dead Zone to the lowest percentage for each without noticing drift. Keep in mind you will want to adjust these settings for each individual game.Hope this is of help!
