I’ve been having some problems since around the time I downloaded the Champions Bundle and got the new Title Update (I believe I was SR-124 at the time).
Nearly every time I start up the game, my Spartan points are refunded, all loadout items are reset except for weapons with skins and upgrades/packages which were downloaded or unlocked through Specializations, all non-downloaded items usually have stars next to them and must be re-bought, and stance is reset. Sometimes emblem, service tag, and emblem colors are reset as well. And every once in a while the Infinity Multiplayer intro re-plays.
(Also, I’m not sure if this is relevant, but at the moment I am noticing in the main menu that two audio tracks are overlapping: the “idle” track that plays when matchmaking is taking place and the music track of whatever menu I’m in. I have never noticed that before, but perhaps it’s always been like that.)
In addition, on Sunday, October 6, all campaign missions were removed from the mission menu; Prologue being the only item. I did, however, still have the option to resume my most recently played mission, which was Requiem on Legendary. I resumed and finished the level, and when the next level started I received the Player-Campaign Commendations “Requiem” and “Legend”, but I did not unlock the achievements “I Need a Hero”, “The Legend of 117”, and “Lone Wolf Legend”. (I had finished all the other missions before; this was the last remaining mission I had not yet completed on Legendary. All other campaign Commendations are still unlocked). The Campaign menu now shows Prologue, Dawn (locked), Requiem, Forerunner; only Requiem shows a Highest Difficulty Completed - Legendary Solo.
This is not the first time my campaign progress has been reset. The one other time this happened was December 12, 2012. I had finished the levels Dawn, Forerunner, Composer, and Shutdown solo Legendary in the month before. Just as this last time, Prologue was the only item in the mission menu, but I had the option to Resume Campaign, which was Midnight on Easy. Completing that showed all missions in the menu, all locked except for Prologue, Midnight, and Epilogue. I later played through the rest of the campaign on Easy, and eventually went on to complete Midnight, Reclaimer, Infinity, and finally, just two days ago, Requiem solo Legendary.
I am disheartened and upset to have completed the campaign this way and not unlock the aforementioned achievements. Unfortunately, I assume I will have to re-play the campaign on Legendary if I want those achievements, whether or not the reset problem gets fixed, but I’m hoping this information is useful towards a solution.
