All i want is a ranking system exactly like or similar to Halo 2. You can separate matchmaking playlists just like halo 2 did, between ranked playlists that are popular and also unranked playlists where guests can only play in non-ranked games and so forth. Any halo 2 vet knows exactly what i mean.
This is what kept halo 2 growing, kept players playing the game, and kept the game competitive. You should be able to lose ranks by losing games and it should be shown in game for others to see. What is a FPS or any competitive multiplayer game without some friendly competition between friends or random strangers? This keeps kids from screwing around in game and making your team lose, since there will be some sort of deduction in rank.
inb4 → Someone says they already said they will implement a ranking system. BUT its only going to be visible online… Will this ranking system also help keep games fair in playlist? i hope so. We can only wait until its released or implemented.
