All I want for forge...

Is to change the color on the entire surface of each piece…

In Reach the forge maps started to look ugly/repetitive from seeing the same gray color over and over. Being able to change the whole color of each piece would do wonders. Maybe even textures. That would be great.

I wouldn’t mind this, why not.

yeah some skins or themes would be good, the forge maps in reach looked very plain and generic

It looks like it’s already been done…

If you go and spectate someone on Pegasus, and fly around the map, you’ll notice that there are 2 silo’s above and below each other, one of them is fully blue with a grey stripe, the one below is grey with a blue stripe, and it’s the same on the red side.

Halo 5’s forge is going to be the best yet (If they keep a lot of the additions they added in H2A)

they just need to put in a simple map editor like far cry, don’t get me wrong forge how it has evolved is amazing and i love it but its still limited. i have always wanted them to just put it on another disk so they can put in all this stuff people ask for like working doors and extra textures.

In my opinion, a map editor as in Far Cry, is completely different than forge. Far Cry map editor works more like the CryEngine itself. Forge, was NEVER initially meant to be a map creator, just variants, like different cover or weapon placement.

Its now turned into an amazing Map Creator, it can’t handle things like Far Cry can because Far Cry is actually using a stripped down CryEngine fronted GUI, in game.

ok i understand that but the second disk thing is still a very viable option or a digital download so the people that dont care about making maps don’t have to download it but can still download and play the maps.

i agree with you. reach and 4 all looked grey and white respectively. the whole block should be able to change colour.H2A is a step in the rigght direction

It’s possible. The Forge pieces on Pegasus looked wholly colored in some spots.

I like this idea. and what people are saying about it. Another thing for forge though… and i really doubt they’ll do it, but add phantoms and pelicans. The easter egg of it in reach was fun, especially how you got to not only drive them but also get in the passenger seat. It’d be cool for those maps where they build UNSC/Covenant ships. And to add color to them as well o.o or even add and emblem icon on pieces ( not talking about the pelican and phantom anymore jut in case you didn’t know), that would add a lot of beauty to the forge games. Clan raid maps would have there banner all over there base. Anyway i like this post :stuck_out_tongue:
