All I think halo infinite needs right now. My opinion

Return of almost every single fan favourite map throughout the franchise

Fan favourite weapons and duel wielding

Touch up on some weapons that feel a bit off, like the plasma pistol tracking

Add more vehicles

Give vehicles more health

Add destruction and debris to vehicles like in halo 3

Get rid of doomsday red shield over vehicles once they are about to blow up. There’s just no fun with that feature on so its best off

Fix the scorpions drivability. It feels a little off right now

Add challenges and other FREE ways to unlocking armour customization to your Spartan

Add playable elites please

Audio options for vehicle sounds. Example- if I want the warthog to sound like halo 3s warthog, then there can be an option for that

In “team” battles, bring back team colours

Shop feels way to expensive still, lower prices

Maybe add higher sensitivity to console, to be honest, I think it’s fine low but if it could go a little higher that would be great

A better ranking system

What do you guys think so far, if I missed anything which I probably have, reply in comments so that these changes can be made.
I really want halo infinite to be a very successful game. It still has a chance.

The Team Colours thing would be an improvement. The Color hilighting simply doesn’t work well. Lots of times I’ve unloaded weapons on team mates that wore red armour and vice versa for enemies.

BTB would be improved if the Random Weapons and Vehicles drops were mirrored to each base. I was losing a BTB match and the Winning enemy team got the Wraith and Scorpion drops - while we got a Razorback (never saw the other vehicle might have been blown up).

They could fix the speed that the Challenge Button updates on Xbox. Sometimes it’s taken 2+ minutes of the stupid thing being hidden behind a spinning “Please Wait” item and I can’t see what my Challenges are.

Agreed, but as long as it can fit Infinite’s art style.

Some weapons might not even fit because of the new sandbox. The Mauler would have been useless because it’s basically the CQS48 Bulldog with less range. Dual Wielding sounds cool.

Agreed. I wonder if when the vehicle explodes and the debris flies out and it hits you, would you take damage?

Somewhat agree. I can understand why you’d want it removed, but it is helpful to know when my vehicle is about to explode.

Yeah, okay. But I feel it should be part of a different mode or something because technically the multiplayer is a training simulation of some kind. I mean it could work with Elites joining in on the training.

I thought posts titled like “All x needs right now” Is ment to be 1 or 2 things, not a entire list, jeez.
Even so, I agree with most of these.

Side note: Bringing back classic maps isnt easy, most maps will have to be rebalanced for equipment and the new weapons

The campaign also need some important improvements:

  • Lower brightness during the night cycles
  • Improve weather effects (e.g. make thicker fog effect, rain, etc.)
  • Add hunters patrolling along the roads / guarding banished outposts during post-game part of the campaign
  • Allow the scorpion to be boarded by marines
  • Allow marines to board wraith turrets
  • Add swarms of smaller sentinels as critters in the ring environment
  • Bring back option to hover obstacles with ghosts
  • Add wraiths patrolling / guarding certains open area during the post-game part of the campaign
  • Option to disable weapons outline
  • Remove invisible barriers between some areas
  • Improve banshees flighting paths
  • Remove collisions damage taken by banshees
  • Add Repulsor ability
  • Buff Thruster speed / range
  • Improve Vehicle physics
  • Allow variant weapons to take regular ammo
  • Allow the player to unlock & call-in Hyperius chopper

I’d be happy with a few remakes. Not all would work with Infinite’s play mechanics. The rest will come with Forge.

Weapons yes. No thanks to dual wielding. It was super cool but it broke the sandbox. But wouldn’t be against it as a custom’s option.

Not fussed about MP Elites. But I would love the Arbiter back in future campaign installments.

I’ve gotten used to the outlines now. I don’t think I want to go back.

They’ve done better recently.

And they actually got me to open my wallet three times in less than 48 hrs!

The ranking system is fine.

They need a better way of displaying the CSR though.

And an XP rank to earn.
