I don’t get the fun behind modding to be an inheritor. Yeah you get all the cool stuff but where’s the fun with it? All I see is just these fake inheritors now, it’s annoying to see them. I wish they would just be legit. I played SWAT just now and ALL of them were fake inheritors with Bungie flames and legendary flame helmet accessory. Ugh.

I play legit in Griffball. I just don’t score because more points ya know.
I saw a modded inheritor but they had default armor for some reason. Also in that same game someone was flying around with a warthog. I haven’t seen modded flames or armor yet.
There’s tons of non modded inheritors. You realize this game is crazy old, right?

… How do you people tell who a modded or legit inheritor is?
I’ve seen a few. Usually a quick look at the service record tells all. If they have less than a few thousand kills and no campaign or firefight… they modded. Typically though, they dont stop there. You’ll know they’re modding in game too. I’ve never seen a “modded” inheritor that wasn’t modding in the match as well.
You do realise that just because they have flaming helmets, that doesnt make them a modder right? Those were gifts from Bungie b4 they handed halo over to 343

Sometimes just by looking at their accounts. And actually it’s not hard seeing one honestly. I think there’s a reply saying how to spot on in this post.

One of the reasons I would love to, but won’t go back to Reach. It seems like the lawless west on that game now and modders are running rampant.
I play that game a lot still and haven’t ran into anyone using hacks or mods. I saw someone with a modded serivce tag that had the bungie logo which is pretty sick, but i have not run into anyone modding to the point where it makes the game unplayable, and to be fair OP modded inheritors don’t effect the game most of them suck at the game so why does their rank matter? If they had aimbot or something I would understand your point.

you really should go play Reach if you want to. I play MM all the time and have not seen any modders or hackers that ruined or even effected MM.
Mmm, never see much of those.
Play Reach almost every day (Living Dead, Swat, Multiteam, Firefight) and hardly see modding or hacking.

If you are referring to the “Bungie logo” as the nameplate. Bungie gave those out on Bungie day in 2011.
From 2012 when I got reach till now (still playing it frequently) I never saw someone modding or hacking inside an actual game…
For sure I saw some inheritors with 2% commendation progress, but if they want to suck the joy out of getting there let them do it and don’t waste your time on them
