All I need is a single Assassination.

I have been trying to get the last Assassination I need to complete my Commendation for 3 hours now. I had no less than 26 Assassinations stolen from me in that time. Most were by different people; in one match, I had 3 stolen by the same guy. I ended up being in a postion to stop him from being assassinated himself, but I all I did was play the John Cena theme while he got Lawn Darted.

If I’ve learned anything from this experience, and others like it, it’s that all the tryhards and/or scumbags all get on Halo 5 at roughly the same time each day: 7:00/8:00 PM EST. Which makes sense: anyone who has enough of a life outside of Halo probably has something to do at that time, such as going out to dinner or a show.

That sucks mate. Maybe you can try your hand at some Warzone and camp in one of the bases until an enemy runs through the door.

lol. I have noticed time patterns each day as well. There are alot of competitive players on in the morning as well. You’ll get it, no worries.

Lol I remember when I was in your position. Just stop trying and forget about it, you’ll get it right away.

MOST PERFECT WAY TO GET ASSASSINATIONS

Step 1: Go into warzone
Step 2: Reach level 4
Step 3: Use active camo
Step 4: Literally go anywhere and find your prey
Step 5: Follow him until he stops/slows
Step 6: Put a knife in his face
Step 7: -Yoink!- over his dead body

Hope this helps!

This but don’t go to the central base since there’s so many enemies there you’ll either just get -Yoink!-'d again or killed while assassinating. If you’re quick you can get to req level 4 before anyone captures the middle base(you’ll usually be at about req level 3 after capturing the first base) and assassinate an enemy trying to get into the middle base. Also, I don’t believe that lawn dart or back breaker drops shields before killing so that may be helpful. They also look amazing so there’s that too.

so if i work a 9-5 job i dont have a life if im on at 7/8 pm EST? i make my own dinner and only eat out on special occasions, the only show im waiting for is Deadpool so dont need to go out to do that. i go out on weekends with friend but you say this an everyday thing.
If this is an everyday thing then you must not have a life cause you have enough chances to get that one kill. get better

SWAT is a great way to get it. No radars, just you and other 7 people, you´ll get it in no time.

Man, I’ve noticed an increase of what my friends call “bad kids” on the weekends, so that honestly doesn’t surprise me.

I’ve basically given up on the game on weekends for that reason, and for the horribly unbalanced teams I’ve been getting.

That sucks but I’m sure you get it done. I’d go to warzone put on active camo and go hunting. Usually people are not aware that you are there. In arena there are much less people so it is more difficult.

I think that all the assassinations take too long

Wow man, way to take it out of context… don’tget so defensive.

Don’t worry about it, someone always eventually leaves their back open for that one special knife. Fathom is a good map for them in arena

You could try switching your assassination animation to one that is a bit quicker

No. I still play at that time. I didn’t say that most people who play at that time are scumbags, but that most scumbags get on at that time.

Get Low and Eyebiter are the best ones to do, given how fast they are and that the enemy is usually in an awkward position or moving to quickly to steal.

Bruh, Warzone mixed with some active camo… I got around 10 assassinations per match, when I was trying to get the commendation anyways.

I did get a good portion of the Commendation via Swat early on, but I stopped after everyone discovered how damn effective Spartan Charges are in Swat. Now they’re everywhere. Dropping down from the ceiling, sprinting across the floor behind you, even hiding in the bamboo waiting for the perfect time to strike.

One small problem: I keep selling every power up I get. I never use them besides the two times I did use an Active Camo (got immediately murdered after popping one). So far, Warzone Assault has been pretty successful. I got three Assassinations in a row the other day on Dispatch, and they were none the wiser.
