i love halo and have been playing it religiously since CE so when stuff like this happens opinions and grievances will be voiced. why add BTB alone? instead of reqs that are near useless give us grifball, action sack, give us a BR only playlist with BTB thrown in the mix of it all. we all loved halo for the fun gametypes and the memories they created. not releasing the gametypes that matters in the first content update is strike two to be honest. keep adding tasteless boring gametypes and you’ll keep getting feedback like this from many. yeah you keep seeing posts like this people but guess what the more we voice our opinion the harder it is for them to ignore us.

i mean also have some faith this game is great as a whole with easily fixable problems but for some reason it takes time for simple things who knows. they must have big plans for the game they never give their whole post launch plan off the bat. hopefully December pulls through
Yea this “Free DLC” is not "Free DLC. They aren’t building any new maps from the ground up, they are just making them in Forge. I have never been a huge fan of Forge Maps. One reason is that they all have the same generic looking picture, so unless you remember which map layout went with which name, who knows what map it is? I also hate it that a good 6 maps in normal Arena are Forge Maps. Leave the Forging to the community, and put some work in on making new, unique looking maps, instead of making what the community can make.
if you think you can convince me then answer these questions please:
How do they screw up forge maps so bad and for this much time put into it?
Why is it OK to kill Cortana and magically bring her back as a traitor?
Who in their right mind could say “RNG was the most loved thing in destiny, lets put it in halo!!”?

i have yet to play the maps yet really so ill see soon but all im saying more gametype variety from the start (look at battlefront my god). there are amazing forgers in the community so when forge is dropped judge then not now. as for the campaign look at it as filler if you want but they did well cortana was expected and unexpected she a very unique a.i and getting this much power is expected. if you look at her in halo 5 shes becoming a forerunner being. i could go further but i dont feel like writing a book

one problem with that " Cortana take over the world" philosophy. Forerunners had an immense protocol system to prevent AI dominance. Cortana is not as intelligent as other installation AIs so thats not technically possible.

I have come up with 3 theories. Either 1.) she is being straight up controlled by another being capable of fixing her yet controlling her. or 2.) She was fixed by the bad guy and is playing the role of bad guy to earn the trust of the real bad guy. I would really really like to see it be number 2.) I hope its not 3.) she is just now straight up insane and the forerunner tech was able to attempt to fix her bu made her worse and psychotic.

I made 34 maps in 4 and a few in H2A. H2A it took 30 min for a warm up sniper match with beautiful scenery. Longest I spent was 12 hours of forge time on 1 map but like I said in a different forum it was godly, like ultimate pvp map. H4 only took 4 hours to build highly functional AND scenic maps my friends loved to play on. Challenge accepted, add me on xbox or join the company pal.
