All Emblems from Past Halo Games

For Halo 5, I would love to see all the emblems and emblem backgrounds return from the previous games. Many people, like myself, got attached to specific emblems when playing the more dated games. Therefore, it’s not fun when we see one of are favorite emblems get abandoned when the next game rolls around. It may seem like just a small customization feature, but emblems are a big deal to some people when it comes to being a part of a group (clan, crew, etc) or when your emblem represents the character you play as.

For example, I was grateful to see that the “Stuck” emblem returned in Halo 4, which is my favorite personal emblem. However, I was a little disappointed to see that the “Grunt Mask” background emblem wasn’t in the game, since it could be used as the mask for the “Stuck” emblem. I’ve been using that emblem combination since the beginning of Halo 3 and I wanted to keep it going through each game.

I know 343i probably has a lot on their plate right now, but it would be nice to see some old fan favorite emblems return in Halo 5. What do you guys think? Is there an emblem you want to see be returned in Halo 5?

Yes. To many, having a specific emblem is like a part of your identity. There’s nothing more disappointing than having to use a new emblem because your old one didn’t make the cut.

The problem with Halo 4 is that most of the emblems were just geometric figures that few could associate with yourself. I don’t have a problem with this, but a lot of classic emblems were pushed to the side so the game could handle all of the new Specialization emblems that few used. And they don’t represent a player like other emblems, like how I associate RJ with his Sticky emblem, while a jumble of lines (no offense, Comic) is hard to pin to a player.

Personally, I’d like to see Double Crescent return. It saddens me that it wasn’t deemed “worthy” even though it’s lasted from Halo 2 to Reach.
