Chest armor, every piece is dull gray not even metalic.
They stick out and don’t seem to belong…
Unless your armor coating incorporates a shade of gray
They need to accept a color from armor coatings

Absolutely. It is a gd dmn shame this still doesn’t work.
It’s because the coating system was a terrible idea off of paper.
Every coating is and individual set of textures that need to be made for every individual piece of armor compatible with that coating’s armor set.
Having to apply every one of those textures to yet another category of armor pieces would be too hard.
Not to mention that every armor set that comes out a texture has to be made that’s compatible with the pieces for every compatible coating.
