During my time playing the halo infinite flight I ran into very few bugs.
I had trouble reasigning the V key when changing my keybindings. When I would try the pop up window which tells you that a key is already bound to something else would tell me that I’m trying t reasign right click instead of V. I would no longer be able to use right click or exit the settings menu and would have to force close the game to get rid of the problem.
I also found that if you press escape at the exact time you respawn in training mode, the game will freeze and has to be restarted to get rid of the problem.
The only 2 other bugs I encoutered during my sessions were the infinite slip signs spawning using the shock grenades (pls keep at least on custom games… very funny bug), and the rapid melees by swapping weapons or reloading to cancel melee animation.
Now for possible improvements. I find the personnel AI talk far too much and many of their lines are kind of annoying; those are just my personal opinions I’m sure some people are fine with the AI as they are, but I’d appreciate a way to reduce the amount they talk, add better AI with less cringy lines, or allow players to upload their own sound files to really make their own personal AI. I’d love to be able to make my own Morgan Freeman or Caboose AI.
The warthdog also felt kind of stiff, the turret on it though is amazing and I think probably my favourite in the series but in terms of driving I think it needs more drift to be able to pull sharp corner more easily and feel more controllable when turning at high speed.
Even though I still haven’t used the wraith yet I was thinking that it could be cool to give it a bit of an update for halo infinite by allowing it to zoom in and get a top down view of the map allowing it to act more as a mortar, like in the campaign and making it feel like a more unique tool because most of the time it’s just outclassed by the scorpion. When not zoomed in the wraith acts the same as normal, but when zoomed in it remains stationary and has a delay when descoping making it vulnerable to being snuck up on and boarded.
If not as the main wraith then possibly as an alternate version like the ones aquired in the req packs in halo 5.
