All armor coatings should work on all spartan cores and not be limited to one spartan core and the battle pass should have more good looking coatings and not one color coatings

The biggest problem is the coatings themselves! Skins don’t belong in Halo and the coatings all look like -Yoink!-. I say they make the coatings customizable, let us use them as a template for our own colors. Instead of selling one a different color for $13

agreed. same with the visor colours! should work for whatever armour core i prefer to use. ive already been disapointed after unlocking one and then realizing its only for the armour im not using

Everything should work with any armour core, this will only get worse with each new season as old cores are made redundant

It’s funny to think that there should be 30 basic colours to choose from just like it was in previous halos. With the option of having 2 out of 30 colour combinations being a total of 435 different colour combinations.
These 435 basic armour coatings could easily be unlocked by progression and not through the battlepass. My colours ive always had in halo was Green and white, the closest coating to this is the one with a very pale green and white helmet. How hard is it to have 30 different colours or even the 435 combinations. You could unlock 5 or 10 at a time. Microtransactions and battlepass’s are the bane of online games and it’s sad to see halo go this way. Can’t even have my emblem that I’ve had for years just be taken away. Why not have the way it is in the MCC to customize your emblem. They could easily do both. Have the preset emblems and then have a basic emblem customizations just like in previous halos.

I support the difference of armor by GEN.

  • At first it will not be a problem but in two years, having updates every 3 months, it will be a very big hassle to have so many armor without a clear difference that helps to group them. I don’t want to go back to Halo 5.
  • It allows the creative team to properly refine and design these armor pieces so they can be seen well without being ugly.
  • I am a defender of the canon and that there are differences by generations allows that there are different types of armor updated to their generation, it would be great to have the GEN II version of the EOD, and then have their GEN III version.

I understand that there are people who prefer to have absolute freedom to design their Spartan however they want. But all freedom must have its limits if we really want this not to end up being a debauchery.

It’s a debauchery rn, and in 2 or 3 years if they can’t have come up with a solution it shouldn’t be us that suffers for it

Armour coatings are a colour system and should be treated as such, not an armour piece.

I only refer to the armor pieces, i support cladding that can be used on all armor.

im also for armour pieces sticking with the generational cores, just not the coatings and visors.
