Hello, my name is vV Toasty Vv and if you are like me you have played numerous amounts of the Living Dead playlist with no luck of even getting a Defiant map. This is true. I have played at least 50 or more games of zombies and have yet to see the maps even be available to vote for let alone play. I am posting this right now to try and open 343’s eyes to this issue I (and I’m sure a lot of you) are having.
I myself have bought and played every single Halo for thousands of hours it seems. I even have a tattoo of the flood on my arm, a half sleeve in progress. I am a true die hard fan and was just asking 343 out of the bottom of my heart to help a nerd out.
343 can’t force people to buy DLC that don’t want to play it, they increased the algorithm a while back, that algorithm can’t function fully if people don’t want to buy/own the DLC.
Do you have the Noble and Anniversary Map Packs as well? Are you able to party up?
Party up with some others that have the Defiant Map Pack, to increase your chances of finding Condemned or its variant Uplink.
If you are able to party up, or even if you aren’t, and you have one or both of the other map packs, delete them. That will further increase your chances of finding Condemned/Uplink, as it’s not going to search/match on a Noble/Anniversary map.

Thanks, I didn’t fully understand why I wasn’t getting this achievement until now.
Thank you for the advice everyone, and I’m well aware that 343 can’t force people to buy the map pack. As is common knowledge for most map packs. The thing is 343 does have the power to make separate playlists for map packs. Whether that means it’s a defiant only playlist or just a map pack playlist in general. My message wasn’t necessarily to ask how to get it. I am still going to keep going with the friends that also want the achievement, I’ve got two of the twelve needed. v.v I was just hoping that it would perhaps open the eyes of 343 a bit and let them see that this isn’t some isolated incident. I’ve seen loads of people complaining about this, and even if the chance of a getting the zombies is still low on this new playlist I’ve been talking about. I’d still play it for the chances are much higher even if the algorithm for it is low.
Plus wouldn’t it still be fun to play the other game types on the new maps? I love the Noble, Defiant, and Anniversary map packs. I’d love to play Slayer, Snipers, SWAT, or even some objective. I’m not picky.

The problem with that is, Reach has a set amount of Playlists it can have at one time, with the inclusion of the five permanent Anniversary playlists, they really limited themselves, hence why Premium Battle got removed, they needed to free up space for the playlists.
Adding back Defiant as well as Noble takes up too much space.
I see what you are getting at, the thing about that is barely any people play some of those playlists. One playlist, (and mind you I can’t remember the name of it for the life of me) had only 100 people online at the time. It seemed hardly worth keeping. I couldn’t find a match in it either. I’m just saying after all. I’m not forcing a gun to anyone’s head I’m just having a hard time and voicing my opinion. I wasn’t aware that they had a set number of playlists. that hadn’t even crossed my mind.
