"All According to Plan" won't unlock

Hi. I’ve been trying to slowly unlock all the MCC achievements on PC, and currently “All According to Plan” for Halo CE appears bugged. The instructions are to eliminate all enemies in the opening sequence without being spotted. Doing so is always noted by a change in the music, to accompany the firefight going from stealth to free for all. I have successfully completed this stealth sequence without being scene multiple times, in every way I can think of, without any success at unlocking the achievement.

I have discovered today that No-Fly Zone also appears to be glitched and not unlockable for me

Hey, All According to Plan seems to be bugged for EVERYONE, unfortunately. The only work around right now is the following:

  • Uninstall your game - Disconnect your Xbox from the internet - Reinstall a physical disc copy - DO NOT UPDATE - Earn the achievement (might not actually pop yet) - Update the gameDoing this should make the achievement pop, according to the fine folks at TrueAchievement. It’s apparently a hassle, I’m debating myself whether or not it’s worth it right now.

As for the No Fly Zone, that one does work. I just earned it two days ago. The advice I saw everywhere online is to make sure that YOU are the one to shoot down the Banshees. If any NPCs shoot them at all, it doesn’t count.

Ah, thanks for the advice then. I’ll have to try them again at some point and hope for the best

This isn’t acceptable. How could 343 / the devs release the game in this state?

Hey folks, issues related to this are known by 343 and they are investing, but please do make sure and file a bug report about this on the Halo Support site: https://aka.ms/HaloSupport
