I dont really like Locke as a character though. Also he dared to touch the master chief.

He is an okay character but doesn’t have any origins or backstory other than nightfall. He feels like a last minute character. tbh, he could use some development.

His armor doesn’t need more color. He needs more personality.

He’s more uninteresting if anything much like Palmer or Thorn. 343 hasnt been very good at creating characters with personality.

I think they’ve done good good job with Chief’s “humanization”, but you are right.

I think he has a good background, an ex-ONI agent turned Spartan, they could do a lot with that. But in typical 343 fashion, good idea poor execution.

I agree with this. Apparently he’s got some history with the Arbiter (tried to kill him or something) and I’d like to see what that’s all about.

NO they should kill him at the ending cutscene in the first mission like jul 'mdama…

343i is really bad at first impressions with new character, first Palmer mocking the chief, next Locke fighting the chief for no real reason other then people “told him to”, come on 343i step up your game and realize, don’t mess with the chief!
