It took me around 3 and a half or 4 years to accomplish this because I dont spend all my free time playing games, but yesterday night (3/20/15), ten minutes before the clock stroke midnight, I finished Halo 4 on Legendary Solo. Wasnt too hard…the easiest of the four (and I completed it the fastest of all four, maybe…10 hours, 43 minutes and 35 seconds combined time on MCC). Halo 2 Anny was definetly the hardest, Halo 3 wasnt too bad, and Halo CE wasnt too bad back when I did the Anniversary game.
Just ODST left, and I did Reach on Legendary Solo a while ago, then I have all the big Halos (not counting Wars, Spartan Assault, and the eventual Spartan Strike) on Legendary Solo finished! yeah baby. Then I will have Halo 5 to get done as well.
Here are my recorded times from MCC for three of those, since I forgot how long CE took me:
Halo 2 Anniversary/Classic: 14 hours exact (on my Waypoint profile, it doesnt show this. That is because for some reason during a few levels, my internet cut out and it didnt show my progress after completing certain levels after reconnecting online.)
Halo 3: 10 hours and 46 minutes
Halo 4: 10 hours and 43 minutes…only 3 minutes faster than Halo 3. lol facepalm
EDIT 3/24/15: I just finished ODST on Legendary Solo. Took me just over two days to get it done. I finally did it!!
Halo Reach, Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST, and Halo 4 all completed on Legendary Solo. Wow. All six current main games. That thought is crazy.

Good luck and enjoy the awesomeness! Once Halo 5 is out, and as long as the campaign is decent I will do it on Herioc first, then Legendary Solo. I believe that I have gained enough experience with the four older games that I can now play Halos, as they come out, sooner on their hardest difficulty.

some was easy and some was hard. gravemind and regret were the most difficult. i hold a 7 minute 16 second speedrun on assault on the control room legendary. halo 3 is easier as well as halo 4. halo 2 and CE were the more difficult, but halo 2 has many exploits.
I beat Halo 4 on Heroic, and am halfway through Legendary, I haven’t worked on it in a while but I do intend to finish it. That’s all I’ve done so far, but I plan to go even further.

thanks. I just finished ODST, so my post is now edited to count for all six main Halo games currently out. That will change once HAlo 5 is out, then I will say 7 main games (Bungies favorite number).

That is exactly what it felt for me as well…especially Halo 3. Halo 3 is still, all these years later, my all time favorite video game, and favorite Halo. I dont know what Halo game will knock it off the imaginary pedestal I have for it.

Good deal. I once thought to do that, but I really like trying out the new multiplayer first if its working off launch (coughMCCcough lol).
I did Halo Wars on Normal, and that was good enough for me. I am halfway through Spartan Assault. Once that is done it will be crazy to think I, like so many others, have completed all of the currently released Halo games.
